Only 2kms off the N3, we are easily accessible and very easy to find. We are a little farm, so expect a bit of ‘farm noise’ and general day-to-day goings on! Enjoy the serenity of nature on the edge of the Umgeni Valley. Conveniently placed less than 10 minutes away from Hilton Village. This is no normal cottage. Our Forest Falls Treehouse is built at the confluence of two streams. Perched amongst trees, birds are constant visitors while shy nyala often make an appearance. This self-catering cottage can be reached after a short walk in an indigenous forest down steep stairs built into a cliff face. Meals can be purchased through prior arrangements.

The Fox and Hound

The Fox and Hound is situated in the leafy village of Hilton, close to upmarket shops, restaurants, schools, The Hilton Life Hospital and the popular Midlands Meander. It has a cosy living area, with a wood burning fireplace, full Dstv channels, and a well appointed open plan kitchen. Two spacious bedrooms, one with a queen size bed and the other with two singles, and the option of mattresses on the living room floor for extra guests. Free WiFi is available.

eKuthuleni Glamping: Wooden cabin over the lake

Our wooden cabin over the lake offers a cozy and comfortable stay, with stunning views over the lake and the forests around the property. Enjoy the bird life of which there are a few species. You can enjoy the tranquility, or fish from the deck, or explore the nearby attractions. The cabin is self catering, semi off-grid equipped with a gas geyser supplying hot water to the shower, and we have an ensuite septic based toilet.

Woodsong Cottage - Self Catering

The cottage is situated in The Dargle Valley bordering a forestry estate and overlooks the uMngeni River. It is nestled in the trees next to the main house on Woodsong Farm, which is a small life-style farm where you are free to explore the surroundings. Enjoy walks to the small dam with a picnic basket and bird-watch, take photos, enjoy some casual fishing and wild-swimming.

Fisherman's cottage with spectacular view

The fisherman's cottage is situated right on the water's edge and has a panoramic view of the dam and indigenous forest. Relax and enjoy the abundant bird life or tumble out of bed to cast a line for bass. The cottage is centrally located on the Midlands Meander in the Balgowan area, and is close to popular restaurants and wedding venues.
