Fishing enthusiasts will appreciate its proximity to fishing tournaments held at nearby lakes.

The cabin has all comforts of home. 35 foot Trex deck along front of cabin to view song birds and hummingbirds. Ring security disabled. Outdoor fire ring with plenty of wood. Kayaks, floats, and fishing tackle supplied for fun in a beautiful creek. Our cabin has one king size bed designed for a couple.

Multiple outdoor areas to enjoy the sights and sounds of the creek include the back porch, observation deck with Adirondack chairs, and walking path that leads to a stunning view of the Potts Creek “Sinks.” Enjoy the tranquil natural environment as you make use of the outdoor grill, picnic area, fire pit, and hot tub.

A small cottage centrally located in the steep mountains of the Alleghany Highlands, a region rich in history and a haven for the arts. This home provides the best of both worlds, guaranteeing a comfortable base from which to explore Clifton Forge and its surrounding area. Voted the "Best Small Adventure Town" twice in recent years, this gem and adjacent communities also provide numerous retail and dining options. There is something for everyone. Children and pre-screened pets are welcome.

Our home is a cozy relaxing space! Sitting on the front porch is a favorite! The beautiful hardwood floors, French doors between the living room and dining room, and country kitchen make it feel like home. Having a bathroom upstairs and another one downstairs is convenient. The extra large bathroom downstairs includes a walk-in tub/shower and laundry area. The backyard includes a large patio area and inground swimming pool. PLEASE remember and respect that this is a ONE family home.

Escape to a serene cabin to watch the sun rise over the mountain from a screened-in porch or sleep in and have a river beach picnic later. Kayak, canoe, swim, hike, watch wildlife or just use River's Bend Cabin as your base station for many other recreational activities in the area. The back deck curling to the edge of the bluff over the river is sure to provide marvelous memories of a romantic sunset or family celebration. The water is usually deep enough to swim in front of the house, and you can float for miles! You can fish right from the yard and catch trout, small-mouth bass, rock bass, and lots more!

Charming 2 bedroom 1 bath guest house sleeps four looking over the Cowpasture River on a 350 acre working farm. Guest may use of our concrete tennis court and explore miles of hiking trails that lead to the national forest. Farm is surrounded by over 2.5 miles of the Cowpasture River. There is a gravel beach right beside the bridge entering the farm where one can enjoy wading and swimming. River here is 3-4 feet deep depending on the season and stream flow.
