Anglesey Near Newborough Rustic Cottage Escape

Stay in a converted barn,an outbuilding to the rear of our 19th Century stone terrace. An open plan space with washroom,kitchen & bedroom the property is situated in the village of Brynsiencyn on the main coastal road through the South of the island. Our little cottage is a perfect stop off point if you have a busy itinerary or plan to visit some of our many local attractions. Central but tranquil, perfect for a romantic, relaxing get away. This light, airy Shepherds hut has its own horsebox shower/toilet. Access to sauna (£10 a session) Privately set in a paddock, ideally located to explore Snowdonia and the beautiful Anglesey beaches. 7 miles from both the royal town of Caernarfon with it's castle and Llanberis at the foot of Snowdon. Murmur y Coed

Murmur y Coed translates simply to the murmur of trees and sits in a tranquil spot at the end of a private driveway, the closest property to the forest and beach. Llanddwyn Island and beach are one of Wales’ most popular and enchanting spots to visit. It's a lovely walk through the woods to Llanddwyn Beach, you may even see some of the famous red squirrels of Newborough Forest. We are dog friendly and have plenty of outdoor space along with direct access to the Wales Coastal Path.

Dating back to 1850, this quaint white-washed Anglesey cottage is close to the beautiful coastline including magical Llanddwyn Island, an area of outstanding natural beauty and Newborough forest. A real hidden gem, Pen y Gamfa is tucked away down a pedestrian pathway. This charming cottage comprises a lounge and bedroom area. An Aga woodburner with Welsh slate surround provides ample heat supplemented by underfloor heating. An eco extension with living roof is a later addition.

A rejuvenating walk along the Anglesey Coastal Path gets you to Traeth Llanddwyn Beach, where you can take a dip or a paddle or walk around Llanddwyn Island nature reserve, before returning for a snug evening in front of the wood burner. Luxuriate in a super king size bed, and wake up to views of Snowdonia through the picture windows.

The Anglesey Gypsy Caravan

The caravan is situated in a lovely secluded paddock next to our house with views of the Snowdonia mountains and easy access to fantastic beaches and forests. All of our five listings are now completely self-contained with private facilities including shower and toilet so there is no need to have any contact with other guests. We have just changed the composting loo for a flush toilet - all mod cons!!
