Fossil Cottage is a unique small cottage right by the seashore on the Isle of Skye, one of the world's favourite islands. Comfort, character and charm in abundance, built from local stone with ancient embedded fossils, this special place has a very peaceful and soothing atmosphere. Escape the city stress! Wonderful views and wildlife. A paradise for bird and otter spotters - and anyone interested in fossils. A lovely beach is close by and the village and restaurants are a couple of miles away.

The Quaint Wee - House with sea and mountain views

Truly relax and unwind at this peaceful shoreside accommodation with an ever changing stunning view. Ideally located for gentle strolls from the house to the local beach and to explore this Scottish Site of Scientific Interest. Perfect for twitcher and wildlife enthusiasts, you may even catch a glimpse of an otter and seals! This is also an ideal launch site for your own kayak/canoe/SUP to just paddle around. From here you can also explore the rest of the island and mainland at your leisure.

The Hobbit House on the Isle of Skye

The Hobbit house with its round door is close to the sea, beach and the mountains. It has views of Broadford Bay and the islands of Raasay, Scalpay and Pabay. For return visitors, unfortunately a new house on the next croft now partially obscures the view of Beinn na Cailleach although you can still see the cairn where the Norse princess is buried. The Hobbit House is NOT suitable for pets. The first thing you should do is download the map from our photo gallery. Satnav doesn't work here!

Cabin

Spacious cabin with lovely views across the water to the hills Located in a quiet area. Close to all amenities,only 7 miles from the bridge Private space with parking. Breakfast supplies include,eggs,cheese,cereal,fruit,juice,bread,butter,marmalade,tea,locally roasted coffee,milk and oatcakes Please note,google maps is incorrect for the last 100 metres. At bottom of junction turn left (not right as directed) Then first right 30m after Ardcana sign Parking 15 metres down drive on left

The Bay -1 bedroom apartment

The Bay is a stylish 1 bedroom apartment situated metres from the shore on the edge of Broadford Bay. It has an open plan fully equipped kitchen/living room which opens out onto a private decking area. The kitchen has a hob, oven & microwave, an under counter fridge with small icebox. Though annexed to the main house it has its own private entrance and parking. The bedroom has a king sized bed with luxurious linen bedding, the ensuite has a generous sized walk in rainfall shower..

Taigh Mairi (Mary's House) Self Catering

Our house Taigh Mairi is in Upper Breakish on the A87(main road).Taigh Mairi is a 5 minute drive into Broadford (3 miles) and 7 miles from the Skye bridge.Within a 10 minute walk is the Red Skye Restaurant.We have created a small,private,open plan self catering studio for 2 within our family home.The studio has its own facilities none of which are used by us. It is set up for guest use only.There are plenty of facilities to make your stay as comfortable and as homely as possible.

Lusa Bothy is a luxury getaway location for couples on the Isle of Skye. It was the idea of the owner to renovate an old stone building into an amazing space with a feast for the senses in mind. Stay on the Bay, Skye

Stay on the Bay is a lovely cabin right on the edge of Broadford bay on the Isle of Skye. Our cabin is the perfect space, for two, to relax and enjoy simply stunning sea and mountain views. As well as being within walking distance of local restaurants and bars, the cabin is also very central for exploring all corners of our beautiful island. Stay on the Bay is a self check in property however Norma can be contacted via mobile at any point.

The Sea Captain's Croft - the house on the shore

The Sea Captain's Croft is a traditional Hebridean croft , situated right on the shore near Broadford on the Isle of Skye. It offers simple but very comfortable accommodation is a simply stunning location, and would be ideal for those looking to experience breathtakingly beautiful scenery in a peaceful and calm setting. Our property is 10 minutes from the Isle of Skye Bridge, and 5 minutes by car from the shops and restaurants of Broadford.

Isle of Skye Cottage

The charming village of Kyleakin, situated on the Isle of Skye, offers a picturesque and peaceful retreat for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Nestled in the heart of Kyleakin's historic district, the Isle of Skye cottage is truly a gem. This fisherman's cottage, built in the early 20th century, is filled with original stone work and wooden features, giving it a cozy and authentic feel.

Tully Beag ~ A little log cabin

Tully Beag is a cosy modern wooden cabin set in the garden of a traditional croft house. Built in 2019, the cabin enjoys sea and croft views, and has a private entrance. There is off-road parking and a small garden with outdoor seating areas front and back. Access to the beach where a variety of wildlife can be spotted is a short walk away, as are several bars, shops and restaurants.

The Little Skye Bothy

We have replaced our Little Skye Bothy in 2022. Same view but a little more space and you still have your own piece of tranquility with outstanding views to the loch and the mountains. There will be more photos to follow soon. The pod has kitchen facilities, 2 ring hob and microwave (no oven). There is a shower room, breakfast bar and stools, TV and wifi is available.
