Overlooking the Chilterns, dating back to 1740 Marquis House was originally a pub. The Barn is where the beer was kept, but now it offers sumptuous accommodation for you to relax. Independent access and self contained for your privacy. The Barn has everything you need including a log burner and 50" TV in the lounge, a hand made King Size bed and an extensive kitchen including a dishwasher, washing machine and coffee machine (open the stable door to take in the view). We aim to provide a luxurious stay in this 3 bedroom barn conversion which can sleep up to 6 people. All three bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms and we use B-Corp bedding, shampoos & conditioners.

The village itself has 2 pubs and lots of walking routes nearby. Paper Mill Lock is a pleasant 30 min walk and has water sport facilities and tea room. Footpath maps available. Our self-contained two storey annexe comes complete with small but well -equipped kitchen, living area, wet room, garden room, 50inch flat screen television and parking. Set in the peaceful village of White Roding, this is the perfect place for a relaxing break. Close to a number of wedding venues including Colville Hall, Down Hall, The Reid Rooms, Blake Hall, Mulberry House, Newland Hall and That Amazing Place, we are also just 15 mins away from Stansted airport.

Rural Detached Double Room/Bath, North Essex

Close to Stansted Airport (20 minutes), beautiful rural location, part of our 14th century farmhouse, the old Bakehouse is a cosy bedroom and ensuite with private entrance. We are not a hotel, but this is an extension of our family home. If you wish to leave your car, if you are flying from Stansted, we can offer long-term parking for £10/day (vs £25/day at Stansted Airport). Great for couples, solo adventurers, and business travellers.

A self contained studio annexe which can accommodate up to 2 guests. The property is ideally located near Stansted airport (3 miles). Featuring one double bed, sofa, shower room and kitchenette. High quality bed linen and towels are provided. The accommodation is separate from the main house, has its own entrance and a private outdoor space with seating.
