Leven Bank luxury first floor 2 bed apartment set within the protected heritage site of the Backbarrow Ironworks (1711-1966) Furnished to a high specification with one king bedroom with en-suite, and a double bedroom with private balcony. There is also a 2nd luxury family bathroom. The stunning kitchen/dining area with a balcony facing the conserved remains of the 1770 furnace stack of the old ironworks, is complimented by a generous rear facing balcony overlooking the picturesque River Leven.

Visit the Lakeland Motor Museum (0.5 miles) or step back in time at the Haverthwaite Steam Railway, where you can hop aboard a heritage train to Lakeside (2 miles). From there, connect with a lake cruise for scenic sailings across the water to Bowness-on-Windermere (10 miles) or Ambleside (14 miles).

Our cosy studio flat is a perfect base for your adventure in the lake district. Located at the southern end of Windermere lake, it has great access to the rest of the Lake District for exploring and only 10 min to Cartmel racecourse. We are close to many great attractions. Ulverston the festival town is just 25 minutes' drive away. There is also a petrol station/shop 20min walk/2min drive. Grange over Sands is a lovely town to visit and have a wander along the promonade over looking the bay.

There are many wonderful walks and bike rides available from the front door. Stays start Mondays or Fridays.
