Back Beach House

Light, bright and spacious. From the moment you walk in you'll feel calm and relaxed. Fire up the wood fire or simply press a button for instant warmth or cool. Comfy Koala mattresses on beds also equipped with electric blankets. Clean, white stone bench tops and a large cooktop and oven if eating-in is your plan. Stylish and comfortable living spaces. Streamlined bathroom and ensuite, each with a large glass-walled shower. Enjoy the grassy front deck area or sit around the fire pit at the back.

The Studio Somers

Once a beach shack, became an artist’s studio, then rescued as a comfortable home and holiday escape, close to the beach and Somers General Cafe. A wonderful place to sit and relax, walk on the beach or explore local wineries and farm produce. In order to safely manage the conditions brought with COVID (and maintain our low tariff) we introduced a 3 night minimum. We are now able to offer a 2 night stay but this is at a higher rate than a stay for 3 nights or more. Please enquire for the rate.

Casa Frida Studio Moonlight cinema & pool

As you enter the ivy-covered Balinese gates, be prepared to be transported into another world! Also be prepared to walk the steps to the top. (70m incline) The view from the studio comes at a price and if you are prepared to walk the steps.... there's enormous gain when you reach the top. We have created a little tribute to our favorite places - Indonesia, Morocco, Spain and Mexico. If you are after a 5-star hotel stay - we don't recommend our property - Come for the experience of Casa Frida!

Seahouse Studio is located on one of the Mornington Peninsula's most spectacularly unique properties. This converted battery house sits perched atop a cliff, overlooking uninterrupted views of Port Phillip Bay, where dolphins frequent and the Melbourne CBD skyline peeks through the horizon. Wander through the beach path on the property, taking you directly down to a secluded beach or spend your time on the deck with a glass of wine, enjoying the sunset.
