This snug, grass-roofed eco-cabin offers panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean. Enjoy a warm Irish welcome, mountain walks on the Beara Way or snorkelling through nearby reefs. Sample local cheeses, lamb, fish and seafood or stoke up the wood-burning stove, have a glass of wine and and savour the peace and tranquillity! Word of warning: we are VERY remote, (1km off the road down a rough track). With almost no public transport, own transport (eg car) is highly recommended - see Getting Around!

The Beara Bus....with Awesome Views

The Beara Bus is a unique living space situated on the coastline with stunning views across the Atlantic to the Sheeps Head and Mizen Head Peninsulas and Bere Island. The entrance to the harbour of Castletownbere ( Irelands second largest fishing port) can be seen with the daily coming and goings of the fishing fleet. In the waters below the Bus basking shark, minke whale and dolphins are frequent visitors. The sun rising up over Sheeps Head Peninsula can make for an unforgettable breakfast !

Rosehill Cottage , Sneem on The Ring of Kerry

Tranquil Cottage on the ring of Kerry and the Wild Atlantic Way, with spectacular views. the Cottage has been recently refurbished. There is a spacious, fully equipped kitchen,with dishwasher, washing machine, fridge freezer,electric cooker with oven. Adjacent to the kitchen is a sunroom/dining room looking out to the mountain views all around. Fern Cottage is a newly renovated old style farmhouse which we have lovingly restored . It has beautiful views. This is a 3 bedroom house that can sleep 7. It has a seperate kitchen and living room. It is a bright, airy and relaxing space, perfect for a holiday. It is a private house that overlooks the magical miskish mountain from the front of the house. A short distance away numerous beaches, beautiful walks and magical views can be found. It is a ten minute walk to Eyeries village

Harbour Lights

If you love the ocean, you will love this place. It is an ocean front property looking out at the Bere Island Lighthouse and Harbour’s Mouth. This is a very quiet and private house on a one- acre property within a 15-minute walking distance to the center of Castletownbere. Entrance is thru a private automatic gate and has a slipway to the sea. This is a beautiful area to go canoeing, fishing, and swimming. Seals can be seen from time to time as can the fishing boats going out to sea.

The Old Post Office (Urhan)

We have refurbished this fabulous old building in Urhan using local craftsmen. The building was originally a national school for many years from 1884. It then became a post office and shop for over 40 years. There are fabulous views of the sea at the front and views of the mountains at the rear of the property. It is very close to the Urhan Pub (less than 100 metres) so you can wander down for a pint of Guinness or a glass of wine and take in the breath-taking views of Coulagh bay.

Shepherds Hut overlooking Kilmackilogue Harbour

We are situated on the Beara Peninsula, just up the road from Helen's Bar in Kilmackilogue. Our Shepherds Hut called The Bothy, overlooks the sea, and is three minutes walk to the beach. Enjoy nature at its best with views of Kenmare Bay and its surrounding mountains. It is a hikers paradise, lying just off 'The Beara Way' . Cyclists will also be in their element with The Healy Pass a few kilometres away. Kenmare is half an hour away with wonderful shops and restaurants.
