Quiet Getaway

Quiet vacation home on Wixom Lake. While the lake is gone at the moment, it’s still a nice get away location. Large side yard for parking or tents. A fire pit in the yard for a relaxing evening. The house has three bedrooms, including a double bunk bed in one room and a master suite & central heat/ac A recent addition of a garage, entryway and loft have changed the look of the place. Although there isn't much room to roam on the property itself, there is access to the Pere Marquette Rail Trail only a short drive North. The cabin is just off the highway in farm country, and is described as peaceful with a cozy interior. You may however hear some road noise if you are relaxing outside. The small town of Barryton is located a mile to the South

We are about 25 miles to the Soaring Eagle Casino and 30 to Central Michigan University. Enjoy our cozy one bedroom home that also features a sleeping, reading and rocking porch. No pets please, but you may be greeted by our farm dog Hank!
