The Barn at the Old George and Dragon

The village of Pavenham is situated just 6 miles north of Bedford. Surrounded by the beautiful setting of the River Ouse, the village has a magnificent golf club and a pub right in the centre. Just 100 metres from the Old George and Dragon, the COCK does not provide food at the moment, but a great atmosphere. However, 5 minutes drive away is the SUN at Felmersham which does good food. Several places in Bedford deliver takeaways. Ideal for walkers on the John Bunyan Trail.

The annexe is suited to one or two people, and provides a great base to explore the local area with walks, cycling, golf and the River Great Ouse for paddle boarding, canoeing and open water swimming. Ideally situated for day trips to Cambridge, or London. Bedford mainline train station is 15 minutes away.

The Kiln

The Kiln is an annex attached to our house, in a rural location north of Bedford. The Kiln was fully renovated in 2023. Importantly, you have your own space, kitchen, bathroom, living area and large double bedroom (plus single bed can be added if needed). Fully equipped kitchen along with a Nespresso coffee machine. Underfloor heating throughout, own front door, outdoor space with tons of parking!
