Cape Point Mountain Getaway - Stone Cottage

This is one of Cape Town's environmental and historic treasures. It is a candle-lit hideaway with stunning views of mountain and sea. The Cottage is completely off grid, with fresh water coming off the mountain and energy from the sun. The cottage is built from local materials - stone walls, reed ceilings, blue gum supports. There are glass doors and windows throughout the cottage. The cottage has a beautiful open-plan bedroom and bathroom. The bathroom includes a tub, a toilet and a basin.

With 180 degrees views of mountain and sea, it is a stage set for tranquility, to unwind and experience the beauty of the area. The beach and a quaint village close by, offers everything you need. With a private garden and pool, this coastal cottage was dreamed into existence as a laid-back vacation getaway. We kept the simplicity of its original character, adding the modern conveniences that are expected for comfort now, including solar power. Discover this charming cottage filled with quirky vintage rustic finds. One of the original seaside cottages in conveniently central Eastcliff, it's only a short stroll to the cliff path, town, and sea- you can hear the nearby waves crashing!

Cosy Seaside Cottage | Hot Tub & Fire Pit

A neat comfortable flat in a peaceful neighbourhood, a 500m walk away from the Onrus to Sandbaai coastal path. Great locations for swimming, surfing, diving or just catching some sun rays. If you like mountain biking or hiking the mountains are also just around the corner. The stoep features a wood fired hot tub and fire pit and looks towards the mountains and a stand of bluegums which attracts a lot of bird life. The flat is on our property but is completely separate with secure parking.

Treyntjes Rivier Cottages

Treyntjes Rivier Cottages are about 9 km from Caledon and 25 km from Hermanus. It can accommodate up to 4 persons Two bedrooms each with their own en-suite bathroom. The main bedroom with a king size bed, the second bedroom with 2 single beds. The kitchen is fully equipped and the living area offers couches, Smart TV and WIFI Braai facilities are available in the garden. We no longer allow brides or grooms to get ready at our cottages on the day of their wedding. No day visitors

Blueberry Hill Cottages - Lavender - Franschhoek

Lavender Cottage is a modern three bedroom self catering cottage with three bedrooms, main ensuite and the other two bedrooms share a full bathroom. There is a fully equipped kitchen with cooker, microwave and Nespresso coffee maker. The cottage has its own private terrace overlooking the large rim flow pool. The pool is situated on it's own large terrace and is shared with Olive cottage. We are ideal for guests who enjoy wine tours, the outdoors, hiking and biking plus horse riding.

Amakhaya by the sea

Amakhaya by the sea is an entire self contained cottage with its own garden overlooking the shores of False Bay, with picturesque views, whales, penguins & seals it is the perfect place to unwind. Close by are the world renowned Boulder's Beach penguin colony; mountain climbing behind the cottage, access to deep sea fishing, diving and kayaking at Simon's Town Waterfront & Harbor; as well as scenic Cape Point Nature Reserve. Quaint coffee shops & restaurants line the streets.

Heidi's Barn, Franschhoek

Situated on a small holding 5km outside Franschhoek, opposite the exquisite La Motte Wine Estate, Heidi’s Barn offers the perfect self-catering base from which to explore the Winelands. A fire pit, outdoor dining area and a large swimming pool (shared with one other cottage) are perfect for summertime relaxation while an indoor wood-burning fireplace and wooden floors throughout make for a cosy winter escape. The barn runs on mains power with solar back up for load shedding.

With a dedicated work area and 100mbps fibre, it is also perfect for escaping the city yet remaining connected for a peaceful remote working experience. Ideally suited for couples or families with children.

The Hide Away - Romantic Cottage to Watch Whales

Smell the ocean, breathe in incredible views and never leave this most secret special hideaway. If you want a rustic albeit sometimes windy escape to restore your soul then it's for you. Please note you need to go down (and back up) 90 stairs to the property. Hanepoot Cottage is close to Franschhoek village. You’ll love the cottage because of the spacious, private, setting on a working wine and fruit farm nestled against the mountains of Franschhoek Valley. Good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families (with kids). You are welcome to explore the farm and even practice your chipping and putting skills on the green.There is an inverter to provide electricity during loadshedding periods.
