Updated home located on the shores of Lake Huron. With 1,500 sqft of space, the chic decor provides a comfortable place to rest after enjoying beautiful Northern MI. Swim in the cool blue waters of the lake on our private beach, or rock hunt on the traditional Huron beach shores. Grab a coffee and experience the beauty of the water from the 50' deck or down on the beach next to a warm fire. End the day decompressing in the private sauna. -20 min to Mackinaw City, 10 min to downtown Cheboygan.

Waterfront Home on Black Lake

175ft Waterfront on Black Lake with 3 kayaks, 1 paddle board, and float mat. Fish from the dock, listen to the waves while reading, and absorb the sun. At night, watch the stars as you roast marshmallows around a campfire and sip a beverage. Large remodeled home with 4 bedrooms, 1.5 bath, 5 beds, sleeper sofa, deck, firepit, windows galore, pool table, washer/dryer, and up to 2 dogs are allowed ($50 fee). Saturday to Saturday rental from June 20-August 22. Bedrooms and full bath on 2nd floor.

There is a public beach and boat launch access to the north, and the Onaway State Park is within walking distance to the south which also has beach and boat launch access and plenty of trails to hike. It is a short drive to Black Mountain recreational area for your hiking, ATVing, or snowmobiling adventures. Black Lake golf club is a 6-minute drive and Ocqueoc Falls is a 14-minute drive.

Relax at our modern, peaceful cottage on the pristine Twin Lakes next to the Black Mountain Recreation Area, offering 500+ miles of groomed trails for hiking, biking, cross-country skiing, snowmobiling, and off-roading. Relax on our spacious deck and grill your favorite meal. The kitchen and bathroom are equipped and stocked, and we have high-speed internet. We have a dock for boating, fishing, swimming, or just relaxing. We also have a canoe and kayaks for guests. We also have a fire pit.

Sugar Magnolia is the newest vacation rental on Black Lake in Onaway Michigan (June 2023). Having been renovated recently with great amenities, you are sure to feel welcomed in this serene location with all the thoughtful little touches and additions. We really tried to go with the “wow!” factor in this family friendly location with plenty of kids toys, stylish decorations, kitchen amenities, coffee and wine bars, etc. We cannot wait to host you!

In addition to 10,000 acres of boating, fishing and swimming you'd be a stones throw away from the Black Mountain Recreation area where you will find miles of trails for ORV's, hiking, biking, skiing, fishing, hunting and snowmobiling. Only a few miles away from the beautiful Onaway State Park and the beautiful UAW Black Lake Golf Club.

The Comfort Water House is the perfect place to curl up with a book and listen to the waves, or splash in the lake on a hot day. The yard is well maintained, so help yourself to the outdoor games we have provided or take the kayaks out and watch the sunset. Guests are sure to feel at home with access to the fully stocked house. We take pride in our home and offer a clean and minimalistic space.

Our lakefront home with original log interior is spacious, yet cozy and charming! Located near Mackinaw City and Cheboygan, this home sits just a few feet from the edge of Lake Huron offering million dollar views and amazing sunsets. Relax by your crackling fire, listen to the waves gently lapping the shore, and watch as Great Lake Freighters slowly pass by.
