My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families (with kids), and furry friends (pets). I do have a 50.00 pet fee per dog up to 2 dogs only. It is located just above the entrance to the Smoke Hole Canyon with great fishing, beautiful scenery along the paved country curvy road. You can drive through the canyon and come out on Rt 28 just below the Smoke Hole caverns and gift shop. Then continue to Seneca Rocks and hike the rocks or drive to Nelson Rocks for zip lining.

Step outside to hundreds of miles of biking and hiking trails, and stocked lakes and streams. Well maintained paved state road to cabin driveway. The house is 20 minutes West of Harrisonburg VA and JMU.

Get away to a fairytale like cottage in the woods. This adorable little home is built on a hillside next to a mountain creek. You will be able to enjoy relaxing on the screened in back porch that is high up in the trees. Listen to the sounds of the babbling brook, bird calls, and breath in the fresh air of the forest. The tin roof creates a cozy sound on rainy days while you can cuddle up on a comfy couch and nap or watch a favorite movie. Not to mention wonderful hiking trails all around!

Our home is one of 4 current family houses on an active working farm that has been in operation since the late 18th century. The logs, from the 1800's, were reconfigured 17 years ago combining a rich history with high speed internet and modern amenities. Take a walk on the original wagon train road down to a stream or bath your senses in the majestic view of Jump Mountain from the meadow.
