Maremaan Pool Villa

Palm fronds wave over the pool at this Scandi-style villa close to Koh Samui’s Chaweng Beach. Outside, the home is surrounded by verdant tropical gardens; inside, it’s appointed with blond wood and clean lines inspired by Nordic design. Drive 5 minutes to a white-sand beach lined with bars and restaurants ranging from the blissed-out to the dance-all-night. The villa is nestled onto 2,000 square meters of private grounds, with lush plantings (and umbrellas) shading its sunny terrace. Claim a spot on one of the loungers, splash around in the 15-meter pool and hot tub, and have drinks and dinner at the shaded alfresco sitting and dining areas on a veranda just off the house. Metal-framed windows lend modern style to the villa’s living and dining areas, separating them from the pool terrace and the fully equipped kitchen. Look for a mid-century influence in the armchairs opposite the sofas and around the dining table, and in the pale-wood cabinetry in the Scandi-chic kitchen. It’s a 9-minute drive from the villa to Chaweng Beach, a lively, sandy stretch known for its beachfront eateries and nightlife.
