Located on the Peddars Way in the heart of medieval Castle Acre, voted one of the best villages in Norfolk.Castlegate cottage sits pleasantly near the green and ancient bailey gate. Nearby are the ruins of the 11th Century Castle and Monastery. Close by is The Ostrich a 15th-century public house, Wittles Cafe, Spar store and Fish and Chip shop. It is an idea base for exploring with Nar Valley and Peddars Way close by and a short drive to the Coast, Sandringham, Holkham and Houghton Estates.

Have a relaxing stay in a spacious, rustic apt in the historic Rokeles Hall, the space features cottage style interiors for guests who appreciate comfort & history. The apt has parking (2+ cars), a private entrance & sleeps up to 8 (incl 2 dbl sofa beds). The original Hall (on 14 acres) was built in the 1200's & the existing Georgian building from the 1600's. Great wifi, fridge freezer, kettle, toaster, microwave & oven (no formal kitchen). Good restaurants, pubs, supermarkets & walks nearby.

A perfect opportunity to get away from it all, with beautiful views and a paddock area (also for guest use). 10 minute drive from Swaffham and Dereham (with access to supermarkets and shops), 30 minutes to Kings Lynn or Norwich, 40 minutes to the North Norfolk coast. The Treehouse accommodates 2+2 and has a double bedroom, shower room and large open plan living area/games room with kitchenette and breakfast bar.

The Stables is situated in the grounds of Home Farm, Merton, directly on the Peddars Way Footpath. Just 2 miles from Watton Town Centre this is a perfect location for exploring both Norfolk and Suffolk. We are just 22 miles from Norwich, around 30 miles from the North Norfolk Coast and 22miles from Bury St Edmunds.
