This very charming, cosy and rustic log cabin is located on a private lake on the outskirts of a quiet family farm in North Chideock, just 5 minutes drive from the Jurassic Coast. The tranquil surroundings make this place the perfect romantic getaway for couples and an amazing place to spend a holiday as a family. Various wildlife and lifestock are frequent visitors of the cabin including our resident heron. Enjoy a drink on the sun deck and watch the sunset over the fields from the hot tub.

Cosy Country Cabin

The Cabin is situated on our land, next to our garden. It faces down the valley with scenic views and a peaceful setting. It's an ideal place to relax and a great base from which to explore the beautiful Dorset coast and countryside. If you like wildlife you may spot deer, hares, kestrels, buzzards, barn owls. It's open plan with a light and pleasant lounge space, sleeping nook containing a very comfortable double bed, kitchen with a fridge/freezer and 2 ring gas hob and a compact shower room.

‘Curlew' is on East beach in the lovely Devon village of Branscombe. It has a unique position right on the beach on a raised elevation, throw open the balcony doors and you are looking out onto the ever changing sea and stunning coastline which is a World Heritage site and area of outstanding natural beauty. Little India & Africa (also listed on AirBNB) are set in a beautiful oasis of flowers & plants. Double bedroom with on-suite shower and toilet facilities, fully fitted kitchen (including washing machine, dishwasher, plates, cups, saucepans) and a lovely sitting room with a sofa bed and complimentary Wi-Fi. Come and enjoy glorious sea and country views. We are in a quiet corner of Lyme Regis, a scenic mile’s walk from the beach. The cabin has parking and is a 5 minute drive to beach. It is an easy walk down with sea views then an uphill walk back. Lyme is hilly with glorious vistas. It’s a good spot for walkers - near the coastal path plus near a footpath that takes you either inland into Uplyme’s country walks or via the picturesque River Lim for a meandering longer walk to Lyme.

With this cabin, you can expect a home from home feel. The cabin is located on a working farm, so you can expect farm vehicles driving in and out, we also have cows on the farm, they can be noisy from time to time (but mostly when its time to be fed.) The Wyld cabin is located centrally to Charmouth, Axminster and Lyme Regis. Brilliant for a base to enjoy scenic walks and explore the Jurassic coast.

The Railway Wagon, Nr Lyme Regis
