Secluded, quiet and peaceful, Port Moluag is within easy reach of the Scottish mainland whilst feeling totally removed from the pace and noise of city life. The house is newly-built using eco technologies to limit its environmental impact and is surrounded by wonderful wildlife such as seals, otters, and a multitude of birds as well as many sites of historical interest.

Barns Tower is an authentic medieval mini castle with roaring log fires and all modern comforts. The Tower is located in a beautiful rural setting on the River Tweed and is an ideal location for exploring the Scottish Borders. Peebles is nearby with great amenities and there’s heavenly walks right from the door. Our location is fantastic for mountain bike trails and hiking. You can access both directly from The Nest so no need to get in the car to explore! If you are looking to experience Loch Lomond we are under 10 minutes drive to the shore at Balmaha.

The guest house has a double bed with en suite with a separate living area, with sofa, TV and table for 2. The sofa pulls down to provide a small bed, but we recommend this is for a 1 or 2 small children, or if someone can't sleep/partner snores!
