We wanted to build a place that had minimal impact on the environment. It has on demand hot water, rainwater catchment, and solar powered electricity. Our 200 sqft rustic A-frame cabin on a 10 acre property with soaker tub, and 2 excited off leash dogs. The cabin is in a private spot 150 feet from the main house, and a 300 foot walk from parking. Cabin features a double bed in the loft, and a convertible couch. Kitchen is fully functioning with fridge, stove, cookware, dishes, soap and linens. Water is a jug/bucket system. Toilet is a sawdust bucket composting toilet. Heated by wood stove. 25 minutes from Falcon Lake.

La Bécassine est une petite mini-maison en bois. Chauffée au poêle à bois, équipée pour un séjour en forêt facilitant. Eau courante (été), bidon d'eau potable (hiver), sans électricité, fanal et lumière dell, poêle au butane pour cuisiner, vaisselle et casserole de base, literie, lit double dans la mezzanine, toilette sèche à l'extérieur. La Bécassine est à 5-7 min à pied du stationnement. Belle luminosité , jolie vue entourée d'arbres. Calme et observation des étoiles.
