Stanwix Cottage. Walking distance of park and town

Stanwix Cottage dates back to the 1650s when it was part of the coaching Inn which is now the Crown and Thistle. It has been recently fully renovated and is an ideal comfortable base to tour the City of Carlisle, Cumbria, including the Lake District or Southern Scotland. It has three reception rooms including a conservatory overlooking the lovely enclosed garden with patio and three bedrooms, one ensuite. It is within walking distance of the city centre and Rickerby Park and the River Eden.

WINDY HALL - Secluded luxury with stunning views

Windy Hall is somewhere very special. High in the Pennines it offers one of the most magnificent views in England. You may want to stay and enjoy the peace & quiet, but we are ideally placed for trips west to the Lake District, east to the magnificent cathedral city of Durham, and north to Hadrian's Wall. It's unusual in that you have to walk the last 240 metres to the house, though we will bring up your luggage in our 4WD. But don't let this put you off; please just read our reviews!

Quirky little hideaway in the Dalston centre

Recently renovated Annex, is well insulated, cosy peaceful. Upstairs, under the eve’s, original beams are exposed, take care as ceilings do come down low. There is a shower over the bath & separate wc. High quality Anti allergy bedding is used. Downstairs is a kitchenette with microwave, oven, two ring hob & undercounted fridge with freezer compartment. There is under floor heating or multi-fuel fire (please bring own wood/smokeless fuel). There is a tv and super fast fibre WiFi access.

Whether you are looking for a M6 stopover, visiting the city of Carlisle or exploring the lakes, The Hayloft is a delight. Situated in Warwick-on-Eden it is within five minutes of the M6 motorway. Dating back to 1842 it overlooks a cobbled courtyard & has been tastefully restored to retain the original beams. This stylish 1st floor apartment is within a 10 minute walk of the City Centre and comes with it's own allocated parking space for 1 car or a van no bigger than a Citroen Dispatch The 2 double bedrooms (one of which has a Juliet balcony) are fully equipped The open plan kitchen/living room has a spiral staircase leading to the mezzanine level with futon providing another 2 sleeping spaces (bedding provided). It is also very light, so no good for those who need it dark to sleep

Small but perfectly formed 2 bedroom terraced house a few minutes walk from the City centre and Carlisle train station and near to Fusehill Street Campus. Beautifully presented and furnished to a high standard. Main bedroom has a standard sized double bed and the second bedroom has a single and a trundle bed (trundle NOT suitable for an adult, only for child/young teenager) The living room and open plan kitchen are fully equipped including fridge, freezer and a washer/dryer.
