Triple Crown Cabin w/ Trout pond!

Amazing handcrafted cabin located in the center of the "Roanoke Triple Crown" (McAfee's Knob, tinker cliffs and dragons tooth trails) just minutes from each trail head. Cabin is tucked away from everything. No other houses can be seen from the cabin. The cabin overlooks a beautiful pond with a small waterfall cascading in. Cabin was sustainability built with trees from the 20 acres it sits on. McAfee's Knob trailhead is 10 minutes away, Andy Layne trailhead to tinker cliffs is 9 minutes away.

The Magical Cabin on Back Creek

Magic is the word most people use when they visit this hidden gem. Built in 1939 as a fishing cabin by a gentleman who incorporated box cars as rafters and beams, dates still visible since removing the attic. By far the best place I've ever lived. I decided to share it with others who love to explore, who love listening to the voice of the creek or who come just to sit on the porch high above the creek with a spouse, friend, family, or alone. For the best sleep, open the bedroom window!

Located across the street from a popular bakery and bistro and walking distance to downtown, you will be close to everything while able to enjoy a historic building that stands out from others in the area with its unique architecture and history. There are two good sized bedrooms, a well stocked kitchen, and pleasant living and working spaces. In addition you will have access to a shared space and backyard that includes various recreation options including a fire pit, hot tub, and sauna.

Just a short walk to shops and restaurants and a five minute drive to downtown, you'll be conveniently located to the best Roanoke has to offer. This apartment has a private entrance and ample parking just a few steps from your front door. Your host can provide access to a central laundry room (free of charge) on site if needed.

A large 2 bedroom 2 bath high end loft with luxury finishes. The space features a balcony in the front and a large roof deck in the back with views in every direction. The space features a full kitchen with a dishwasher, a work desk, and a full-size stacked washer and dryer. Both bedrooms have queen beds. The central downtown location means you can walk to everything Roanoke has to offer, including the "Exchange. Paid daily parking (by the day) available in the adjacent lot.

Falling Pines Historic Cabin

The original log cabin was built in 1936 by the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC). These cabins were built after the Blue Ridge Parkway was laid in 1935, which is just down the street. With love and attention our cabin's renovations were complete in 2017. We kept the original log walls to add a rustic feel to the contemporary, crisp clean decor. The cottage overlooks the babbling waters of Back Creek but is just a 5 minute drive to the grocery store, private yet convenient.

Virginia's Triple Crown Lodge (Shuttle)

This recently renovated barn loft is located a 0.3 mile walk from the AT and just off the Transamerica Trail (cycling). This secluded retreat is located within 20 miles of Blacksburg, Fincastle, Daleville, Salem, and Roanoke. The host is an experienced AT hiker and offers shuttle service to local trailheads, grocery stores, laundromats, etc. The first 20 miles are complimentary, with a $0.70 fee per additional mile. Nature Lover's Retreat

Unique tiny house set on a beautiful farm/wildlife conservation area. The house overlooks the hay fields and 2 acre stocked pond. Property is a nature lover's delight for kayaking, hiking, bird watching, fishing and all the amenities near by. Floyd is 25 miles away, Roanoke is 35 miles and Rocky Mount is 11 miles. Depending on the season, you can watch Canadian geese, blue herons, egrets, numerous species of ducks and other waterfowl frolic in the pond.
