This property is on the Goldfields walking track and mountain bike track. It is in Creswick which is part of the central highlands goldfields. It is 20 kms from Ballarat and Sovereign Hill and 25kms from Daylesford and Hepburn Springs. It is close to town. You can walk to the supermarket, patisserie, 2 hotels, the wine bar, museum and the other amenities. The walking track goes to St George’s lake in the Wombat Forest. There are many birds; cockatoos, rosellas, kookaburras in the garden.

Beckworth Retreat - Ahh, the serenity!

During farm walks you will see kangaroos, wallabies, echidna and many birds including our resident eagles. Beckworth Retreat is a working farm located at the foot of Mt Beckworth just 20min north of Ballarat. Great place for groups but please note that we live in our attached private area and you will be amongst daily farm activity.

Our delightful 2 bedroom self contained cottage called Bonnie Views has unparalleled views - set high on a hill overlooking the historic township of Clunes. Peaceful and tranquil the birds sing in the morning. At night watch the sun set over Mount Beckworth while having a wine on the deck. Clunes hosts many annual events including Booktown (International) in May each year. Our cafes, hotel and local shops are brimming with signs of welcome. So why not come and see for yourself!
