Our cottage is situated in a 3-acre compound with beautiful gardens, located within a 33-acre nature reserve. A haven for native fauna, we've identified over 130 species of birds on the property, and the grounds abound with wallabies, kangaroos, possums, bandicoots, goannas, echidnas, and lots of other native fauna, including our resident koalas. And at night, there is our fabulous night sky!

The Birdnest

Relax & unwind at this unique and tranquil getaway. It's all about the views, cosy atmosphere, serenity & proximity to Dungog services. With a wrap-around balcony on two sides, the view from both inside & outside takes in glimpses of Barrington Tops National Park to the north, expansive views of surrounding farms, valleys & hills to the east & south, and the township of Dungog below. The native birds at dusk are a delight. "The Birdnest" is ideal for up to 2 couples, or a family of 4 (or 5?).
