This property is located on Ox Lake which is private. The property has 16 acres. It is a short six block walk to Manhattan Beach Lodge for dining.

Welcome to Boulder Rock Bungalow, a family-friendly, dog-friendly retreat in Breezy Point. This thoughtfully curated home features a large fully fenced yard for kids and dogs, plus a fire pit with string lights for cozy evenings. You’re just a short walk from the beach, resort, golf course, and favorite bars and restaurants, so everything you need is within reach. Bringing a boat? The public boat landing is just three blocks away. Ample parking makes travel with kids, pets, and lake toys easy!

Treehouse (LOTR) Stargazer Skycabin

Our LOTR themed treehouse, along with our LOTR Wizard's Cottage, have been described as a "love letter to Tolkien himself." We have been featured on PBS and WJON radio. Joan and I live on the acreage, about 200 ft. from the Wizard's Cottage and very far from the treehouse, which is located on the back part of the acreage. It has a fenced-in portion that makes up the Shire Garden. Down the hill is our nod to Mordor. Feel free to visit and dare to open the "Mor Do(o)r." Diversity is welcome.

The River Lodge

The River Lodge sits on a peaceful 5 acres on the banks of the Mississippi River featuring three levels with 7 bedrooms plus additional sleeping areas in the loft and game room, making it possible to fit up to 22 guests. Your stay includes access to more than ten kilometers of trails traversing hundreds of acres of private woodland originating steps from your door.

Our Nordic inspired A-Frame is known as the Stylle Hytte which is Norwegian for ‘Quiet Cabin’. Here you can take in 5 secluded acres of woods with trails winding down to the private riverfront. With lake access, you can fish right from the dock, enjoy a paddle on the water, or relax by the outdoor fire pit. The Paul Bunyan trail is just steps away. Bike or stroll (or snowmobile!) straight into the town of Nisswa, home to shops, great coffee, and unique places to eat. In the warmer months, you might even see some turtles racing downtown!
