Our 1 bedroom Cottage Annex on our family farm overlooking the North Sea and Firth of Forth, is perfect for that quiet getaway. Pets are allowed. We are within minutes of the beautiful coastline and are just 50 minutes south of Edinburgh city. With separate bedroom, ensuite shower room and lounge/diner, this Annex has a small fridge, an inverter microwave oven, a 2 ring hob and a 32" TV. Wifi is available. Locally, we have great food and world class diving, surfing, golf, cycle paths and walks.

We are within half an hour's drive from the beach and railway stations. You’ll love Stichill Stables because of the views and the peaceful location. Our place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travellers who have their car. We can also accommodate a child / third person if required. We are in a fairly rural location, the nearest shops, bars and restaurants being approximately four miles away in the town of Kelso in the Scottish Borders.

Beautifully furnished two-bedroom apartment in a central, but quiet, location, and within walking distance of most tourist attractions. If the hills are too much, a good bus service is nearby. The apartment is very comfortable - a real home from home. I live in the same building, so I'm available if you need help or advice. PARKING: you MUST let me know if you plan to bring a car BEFORE booking. The available parking won't suit everyone.

Plenty of parking, secluded walks from the door, peaceful, starry skies, views across the valley toward hills and river, secluded wild swimming a short stroll from your accommodation, and a log stove to relax in front of. Our lovely apartment nestles right at the foot of Edinburgh Castle, down a little atmospheric cobbled lane just beside the Grassmarket, which is in the heart of Edinburgh's historic Old Town. In mediaeval times the lane was part of the stables area for the King of Scotland's horses.
