Peaceful Country Home, Dover, Ma: Private Entrance

Graceful country oasis in a renovated 125 year old historic home, 35 minutes driving time from downtown Boston. (Important-stair climbing required to reach bedroom suite.) I welcome quiet, mature guests as this is a very peaceful (non-party)environment. We are located on a scenic road in sophisticated Dover, Ma, a commuter/country setting, with miles of hiking trails and roads ideal for cycling. I have owned and loved this home for 35 years and take great joy in its charm and outdoor spaces.

This charming suite is on the 2nd floor of our 400sqm private house with plenty of soul, tradition, and history. The house was originally built in 1896 and keeps the main structure since 1936. More than an accommodation our guests book an experience in a particularly unique, personal, and authentic way. We are a family of cultural mixes and we love the concept of sharing, receiving, and taking care of our guests as new friends. We’re located in the Art District, close to the historical center.

IMPORTANT: roadworks elsewhere can occasionally cause additional traffic to pass the flat during peak times until September, but it is lovely and quiet here during the night. Cathedral, castle or Oriental museum? Durham’s world heritage sites are just a short drive or bus ride away. Kitchenette, washer/drier, fast wi-fi, Netflix etc, car parking. Close to walks through woodland (5 minutes away), a trip into Durham (4 miles) or Newcastle (20 miles). Pets welcome. Supermarket 5 mins walk away.

CloverCroft, a 200+/- year old farmhouse, is located in the rich farmland of the Saco River Valley at the foot of the White Mountains. We go the extra mile to make your stay enjoyable and comfortable. (Please note our mattress is FIRM and there is a long flight of outdoor stairs to access the suite.) Comfortable studio apartment for two. In great location a pleasant 10 minute walk, via the riverside from the historic city centre, with its many attractions and numerous options for shopping and entertainment. Could accommodate baby if necessary and I will provide travel cot and high chair if required at no extra cost. However, guests must provide own bedding and other requirements for baby feeding etc.
