Star gaze while relaxing in the comfortable, Amish-built gilding chairs around the spacious, paver fire pit area .

You will love Sunset Sanctuary, located on 100 feet of frontage on beautiful Torch Lake. New kitchen and dock! Enjoy the sunset views grilling in front of the fire pit. Bring your boat or rent one from the local marina and tie it to the buoy in front of the cottage. Dock removed on September 19, 2025. This is not a party house. We strictly enforce guest limits and quiet hours. Please find another property if your ideal trip is not one of quiet and relaxation. Thank you!

Custom crafted tiny home! It’s a industrial/rustic style home and equipped with everything you’ll need for a great stay including your own private hot tub! Please make note of the spiral staircase as it is steep. It’s located in a private corner of our property with its own drive so you will feel completely on your own. It’s located about 7 miles from Bellaire and Shorts brewery as well as torch lake. It’s about 45 minutes from traverse city, Charlevoix and Petoskey.

Sommer's Retreat is a year round northwoods cabin nestled in the pines and surrounded by a 300 acre nature preserve. Our location is a short distance from the Jordan River Valley and within 20 minutes of the south arm of Lake Charlevoix, Torch Lake, Lake Michigan, Shanty Creek Schuss Mountain Resorts, Glacial Hills, orchards and farm markets. The cabin is a spacious two story retreat that will sleep 6 in two bedrooms and a loft. Guests have access to cabin wifi.
