Welcome to The Old Farm House! Our home is located in the heart of Downtown Foresthill. We are just across the street from Memorial Park and a 5 minute walk from Forest House Lodge as well as our local shops and restaurants. Our house is perfect for wedding guests looking for a family friendly place to stay or friends just wanting to get away in a modern but cozy retreat house. Built in 1879 and restored in 2020, our Farm House has an old look with all the modern amenities. Cozy up to the fireplace in the morning, enjoy a cup of coffee in the breakfast nook, take a shower in our luxurious master bathroom, catch up with friends on our large front porch overlooking the park or catch some wildlife on our 1 acre lot backing up to the forest!

Great for a family get-a-way or retreat. Parking is abundant for your cars, boat and trailer. Winter chances for snow play and skiing one hour away on Interstate 80.

The Inkling -Studio Guesthouse Downtown 2 beds

The Inkling is a separate apartment attached to a Victorian home built in 1890. It is in a quiet neighborhood near beautiful scenic canyons. Close to Old Town Auburn, you may enjoy restaurants, antique shops, family-friendly activities, the American river, and many, many trails. It is less than .5 miles from downtown as well. There is an enclosed grassy area for our human and canine guests. We live in the main house with our 3 small dogs Lola, Leo and Charlie.

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. You will be greeted with beauty and fantastic views nestled among giant Ponderosa Pines, a wide variety of wildlife and birds galore. Bald eagles have been spotted on occasion! As a guest you will have access to a very private spot on the river where you can try your luck panning for gold or fishing. You can also just relax while reading a good book, skipping rocks or just dip your toes in the water.

This is a great place for a relaxing getaway, remote work in a quiet and serene environment, or a home base for adventure. We are conveniently located just about 5 minutes from 80, midway between Sacramento and Lake Tahoe. Our guesthouse has a - treehouse meets relaxing spa vibe.

Linebarier Vineyards

This is a cute second story guesthouse. Its’s very private, located on our 83+ acre vineyard/ranch. We have a 6 acre working vineyard and commercially growing Zinfandel, Petite Sirah, and Muscat Canelli The guesthouse has recently been up-dated and is light, airy with many up-scale features and amenities. It’s a very private setting with no immediate neighbors. There are approximately 140 wineries within a 25 mile radius of our place.

The Crooked Inn

The Crooked Inn is truly a gem located right between walking distance to both the Auburn State Rec Area and Downtown Auburn. All the benefits of a house, with all the conveniences of a hotel. Owned and operated by me, a local Auburn resident, it's easy to feel at home while on the road. From an extensively stocked kitchen, oversized towels down to night lights so that you can find your way to that midnight snack without stubbing a toe.

Experience the Beauty of the Sierra foothills and the Yuba River in our Yurt tucked into the forest just 2 miles from downtown Nevada City. Country Living magazine listed Nevada City as one of the top 10 small cities. Grass Valley is 10 minutes away as well and has more food, shopping, and entertainment for you. Access to the Yuba River is as close as 20 mins to Edwards Crossing and 20 mins to Hoyts Crossing on Highway 49.
