Lavender & Rust cottage

Lavender & Rust is a lovely self-catering house for 4 people with an old-world charm in Clarens. A minimum of two guests,no children under 8years. The double-storey house comprises 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a kitchen, and a cosy lounge. For comfort on colder days electric blankets, and heaters are provided in the bedrooms. Guests can relax in front of the cosy fireplace, and Wi-Fi access is available. The living area opens onto a stoep, and a Weber braai, as well as secure parking, is provided.

Cozy Mountain Cottage on Historic Farm

This Luxury, fully equipped, self catering cottage sleeps 6 people in 3 bedrooms, each with their own entrance. Close to the village centre but far enough away to experience the tranquility of its mountain hideaway. Luxury percale linen and soft towels are provided. Heating is in each bedroom for winter nights. The open plan living area has everything you need for a home away from home holiday. A little fireplace makes for cozy winter nights and outside areas are ideal for summer evenings.

Tugela River Lodge is a pet friendly, self-catering Eco-Lodge, located on a private cattle and game farm on the banks of the Tugela River, near Winterton, KZN, South Africa. We run off solar and gas and invite guest to come and enjoy the quiet side of nature. Our lodge has access to many miles of trails for hiking, biking and running through our private game farm where one can get up close and personal with our resident giraffe. Clarens River Cottage is a private self-catering retreat, 500m from the village center with easy access to restaurants and shops. Nestled at the foot of the Rooiberg Mountains, the cottage offers stunning views and access to nearby hiking trails. It has 2 bedrooms, each with a queen-size bed and private bathroom. The open-plan kitchen and living area lead to a patio with mountain views. Amenities include a wood-burning fireplace, Smart TV, braai (bbq), and secure off-street parking.

Penwarn Farm - Mthini Lodge

Mthini sleeps 8 adults and 3 children and is located 19km on the Bushmen's Nek Road, which is a gravel road, just outside of Underberg, South Africa. Mthini has four bedrooms which are divided into three King Bedrooms and one suite with two ¾ beds and day bed. All rooms have luxury en-suite bathrooms. There is also a full kitchen and a large open-plan living and dining area, with a fireplace, which opens to a patio with a firepit. Daily cleaning, linen and bath towels provided.

The entire Cottage is approximately 50m2 in size. There is one bedroom with a queen size extra length bed with an en suite bathroom comprising a shower, basin and toilet. There is an open plan kitchen, dining and living room. 1x covered parking. 1x covered patio.

Beth and I left an international corporate lifestyle in 2016 to farm on our 300 hectare farm in the eastern Freestate.Jacobrust farm is a working farm in the foothills of the Clarens sandstone of the Maluti mountains .We farm with olives and plains game. Traditional farm animals include sheep,chickens,ducks,turkeys and our free roaming pot belly pig Charlotte. We live environmentally friendly early to bed early to rise lives .
