Our cottages Pears and Lavender are located just a 2 minute walk from the centre of our fantastic village of Beckington. The house looks over fields and countryside yet only 12 miles from Bath and 3 miles from the very cool town of Frome. The Old School House

The accommodation is in an old Victorian School House, built in 1847. Originally, boys and girls entered through different doors and sat at separate desks. although probably huddling closely together around the fire in the cold winters. Today the building is divided between a spacious, comfortable home and a pottery. Many historic features are still visible. You're very welcome to visit the pottery and have a pottery experience.

From the foundation of a blacksmith the smithy is a 2 bedroom house. With double height spaces in the living area and the downstairs bedroom. It is very close to Longleat, Nunney Castle and the neighbouring town of Frome along with the city of Bath is a half hour drive away.
