A Little Countryside Paradise

Maybe I'm a little partial, but I really have to pinch myself when I go visit Callie's cottage. Imagine...a beautiful country road, quiet except for the occasional sound of a cow. A cottage tucked into an abundance of trees, wrap around porch, flagstone firepit area, patio lights strung across the yard, antique mantle with gas fire, crystal chandelier, beadboard from an 1800's farmhouse, a tub big enough for two, the lushest bedding, classical music plays, sweets served. Deep sigh.

Lakeside Cabin on Lake O' the Pines

If you are seeking a quiet place to relax and enjoy the beautiful sunset on the water, look no further than this new lakeside cabin on Lake O' the Pines. There is not a boat dock but around the corner is a boat ramp and of course you can fish from the shore. This shoreline is not the best for swimming it has several stumps but great for fishing. We do not have Wi-Fi but good cell phone service/hotspot. Restaurants and shopping 20 miles in the historical town of Jefferson.

This is a 552sqft apartment within our home. It has a completely private driveway and entrance and secure locking interior door between units. One of the features we think you'll most enjoy is the spacious shower with all the hot water you could want! The kitchenette is ready for a bit of cooking if you like. In addition to the King bed, the sofa folds into a bed suitable for an older child or young adult, and a twin mattress on the floor is available upon request.

Take a short drive to the quaint downtown Winnsboro where you will find antique shops, unique gift shops, a Center of the arts and a weekend evening stage. This cabin has space for up to 5 guests. Short 20 minute drive to Lake Fork. No chores at check out!

Forget your worries in this spacious and serene wooded area of the piney woods of East Texas. Unwind, relax and enjoy a glass of wine on our deck overlooking the canopy of trees. 1 Queen Bed. 2 twin pullout couches. Coffee available in cabin. Microwave and fridge on site. Relax and enjoy being out in the country! Observe and feed sheep by ringing the bell for "mealtime"! This 448 sq. feet suite has sheep decor, including " The Lord is our Shepherd!" Bible scriptures available for reflection/ ministry! Take care of this "sanctuary!" We are grateful for you coming! Sign the guest book and our farm dog will greet you!
