Welcome to our cute converted stone outbuilding in a quiet part of the village which is a small village on the Woodhead Pass on the edge of Manchester and the Peak District. It is ideally situated for walkers enjoying the Pennine Way and Longdendale Trail. There are good road and public transport links to the village. Guests will have the privacy of the cottage but we are available in our family home opposite. Additional fees are added for early check in and check out. £5 charge for pets.

Eccles Pike - Fernilee

The Huts are situated on gentle grass banks in a mixed apple/pear/plum orchard. The main path leads up to a field for tent pitches if you have extra guests with spectacular views of the Peak District. Fernilee Hut has a double bed, table and chairs and a wood stove. Situated half a mile from the Trans Pennine Trail, 2 miles from Penistone town centre, and 7 miles from Holmfirth ("Last of the Summer Wine" country), we are the ideal base for exploring the beautiful countryside. We are also conveniently located for the M1 (6 miles) and just 4 miles away from the A628 Woodhead Pass to Manchester.

Self contained annexe in my private garden with ensuite bathroom. Own entrance via side gate. Fridge and kettle with tea and coffee and also microwave, toaster and crockery/cutlery/glasses. Breakfast cereal and milk is supplied and guests are welcome to bring their own food and drinks. Gym and pool across the road , also pub and takeaways within walking distance. Includes towels and toiletries. Sunday evenings are available by request.

We would like to welcome you to Calf Hey Cottage. We are situated off the main road set in a quite Hamlet in Denshaw, along side three other Cottages. We have a self contained newly refurbished open plan guest suite with separate entrance. The interior consists of a Kitchen, Bedroom, Lounge & Bathroom area, it has electric heating in the bathroom & a Multi Fuel Burning Stove.
