The accommodation has its own entrance, sitting room - with inglenook fireplace (only use electric fire provided) - and steep, winding stairs leading to the large bedroom with vaulted ceiling and superking bed. Guests will have sole use of the adjoining bathroom. Period features also include low beams, but rule out a shower. Not for children.

Chiltern Barn is a 230 year old converted hay barn in Wheeler End in Buckinghamshire - half way between London and Oxford, close to Marlow and Henley-on-Thames with easy access to the M40. Wheeler End is a small village in The Chilterns built around a large common. Hide away in our lovely private cottage in Little Barrington! Though recently renovated, the cottage contains many original features and enjoys wonderful countryside views from a surprisingly large garden. If you can tear yourself away from the cottage, there are wonderful walks from the door and an excellent traditional pub in the village. We live 20 minutes away so can easily be on hand if needed, but otherwise its all yours!
