The welcoming home-away-from-home atmosphere of this peaceful place will inspire you to return year after year. This cabin is part of Wood Haven Estate. ***Limited lake access due to low water levels.

Cabin on lake w no public access. Owners out of sight and sound. Great pike fishing on supplied jonboat and 4 kayaks. Wood-burning sauna next to cabin. Lake Michigan beach and boat access 5 minutes away. 45 minutes to Pictured Rocks, 20 minutes to Kitch iti kipi, 25 minutes to La Fayette State Park. 12v batteries supply a bit of power and a few lights. Pets are welcome except on beds and futon :) Silverware, utensils, propane and firewood provided. You'll need ice, food, and drinking water.

Our cottage is across the street from the South shore of Munising Bay, next door to Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore with Lake Superior kayaking, biking, hiking, ORV and snowmobile trails, and multiple waterfalls nearby. For hikers, the North Country Trail passes by the font door. A public fishing pier is across the street at the mouth of the Anna River. Close to restaurants, the beach, and fishing. Great base camp for Ice fishing on Lake Superior right across the street. Sorry no pets!

The home comes with a large patio, grill and outdoor fire pit. The modernized cabin has huge floor to ceiling windows in the main room featuring the kitchen, living room and fire place. Two bedrooms, mud room, and bathroom are also included. The large 1.5acre yard offers plenty of space for parking & yard games.

Historic waterfront home located on the Whitefish River in Rapid River, MI. Fishing, kayaking, and more right out the front door. Centrally located near Escanaba (16mi), Munising (48mi), and Marquette (52mi) The home is situated off of US2, easy access from many areas but is a main road for traffic so can be a bit busier during certain times. This home features 2 beds, 1.5 baths, and one sofa bed to sleep up to 6 people comfortably. Completely remodeled 2022.

Fire pit for bonfire with wood for purchase on site. TV with HIGH SPEED INTERNET. Most likely will see and or hear a wild animal.
