My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families (with kids), and furry friends (pets). I do have a 50.00 pet fee per dog up to 2 dogs only. It is located just above the entrance to the Smoke Hole Canyon with great fishing, beautiful scenery along the paved country curvy road. You can drive through the canyon and come out on Rt 28 just below the Smoke Hole caverns and gift shop. Then continue to Seneca Rocks and hike the rocks or drive to Nelson Rocks for zip lining.

There is so much to enjoy from hiking and biking the Greenbrier River trail, canoeing or kayaking one of the nearby rivers or skiing at Snowshoe. The logs, from the 1800's, were reconfigured 17 years ago combining a rich history with high speed internet and modern amenities. Take a walk on the original wagon train road down to a stream or bath your senses in the majestic view of Jump Mountain from the meadow.

The Woodland House is our 2-bedroom, 1.5 bath home located in the Mon Forest town of Franklin, WV. Enjoy the comforts and luxuries of home while enjoying the fresh air and forests of a trip to the mountains. You'll also have easy access to our small-town amenities while being a short drive from some of West Virginia's favorite destinations like Spruce Knob and Seneca Rocks. You can also stay in and enjoy the mountain view without ever leaving the back porch.

Mason Jar Cabin Rustic mountain getaway

New cabin built 2019 in the heart of pocahontas county! Just a 28 mile drive to Snowshoe ski resort. It has a bedroom downstairs with a queen bed, upstairs bedroom has a full bed with open loft overlooking kitchen and living room area, bathroom downstairs with standup shower. It has a heat pump, two TVs & WIFI also a fully equipped kitchen. We have a fire pit outside and a charcoal grill. The 77 mile greenbrier river trail is directly in front of our cabin.
