Welcome to Aquila Cottage which is located directly on the Hadrians Wall Path, Pennine Way and Hadrians Cycleway Route 72. The cottage is in an unparallelled location just 150 yards from "the best bit" of Hadrians Wall at Walltown Crags and directly opposite the Roman Army Museum. There is parking for 1 vehicle as well as a bus stop right (services include AD122) outside. We are perfectly located for walking, visiting the historical sites along Hadrians Wall, Lake District & Scottish Borders.

The Coach House at Rivendell is an idyllic stone cottage in a courtyard beside the Magical Barn which is also available on Airbnb. Set in a lush green valley with hills to wander around and pet lambs to feed, quaint little streams, the beautiful enclosed valley with its miniature waterfall and dark skies is delightful. All just minutes from Hadrian's Wall. Explore wonderful Northumberland, the Lake District to the West is an easy drive as is the Pennines to the South and Scotland to the North.

An ‘Amazing Spaces’ inspired shipping container conversion, set in a peaceful secluded wildlife friendly garden, at the foot of the Pennine hills. The container is a 5 minute walk from the picturesque Talkin village which has a friendly pub serving food. A woodburning stove (logs supplied) ensures the container stays cosy in all weathers. It makes an excellent base to explore Hadrian's Wall, the North Lakes and the Eden Valley.. or a perfect stop off point on your way to or from Scotland.

We are situated in a very quiet part of Northumberland with excellent walking and cycling from site. The Pennine way is a field away, we have disused railway lines with viaduct and riverside walks. We also have a smaller cottage next door, which is listed separately on Airbnb, if you have a large party of guests wishing to get away from it all! About 1.5 miles from Hadrians Wall and around 4 miles from the local town of Haltwhistle which is merited with being the Centre of Britain. We are a fully working farm, around a 1000 acres, and have cows and sheep.

Welcome to Crook a Beck Barn, Patterdale a former Cart Barn which we lovingly restored during 2017. The Barn is located on the original coach road in the hamlet of Crook a Beck, next to the village of Patterdale, in the heart of the Lake District, in one of the most beautiful Lake District valleys. During peak season - April to the end of October, 7 nights minimum stay with a Friday changeover. Short breaks may be available so please drop us a message to ask!
