One group per day mountain homestay at 950m on the slopes of Mt. Hijiri, ideal for hiking. Surrounded by beautiful seasonal nature and mountain views. Winterfell Hakuba Lodge with 7 guest rooms is located in the heart of Japanese Northern Alps, on the sunny side of Iwatake ski area, overlooking spectacular Happo-one ski slopes. The house is spacious and convenient with large living room, fireplace, terrace viewing over the Hakuba valley, kitchen with all you need for cooking and kid's playroom. Hakuba ski slopes are just 5 to 10 minutes drive from the house. In summer, you can enjoy hiking, cycling, fishing or just relax in beautiful Nagano.

Experience the comfort of a self contained apartment with the convenience, service and facilities of a Ski Lodge The rate includes 10% consumption tax, unlimited free WiFi full daily breakfast, pick up and drop off upon arrival and departure from the Happo bus terminal and the Hakuba train station between 7am – 10pm, and our nightly shuttle service between 5pm and 7pm which includes the following destinations: International ATM, Hot-springs, Supermarket and the neighbouring village, Echoland.

虫倉山の麓、標高800m、棚田、トタン屋根の古民家が融合するどこか懐かしい風景が目の前に広がる小さな集落のなかに古民家あまねはあります。 江戸時代後期に建てられ、明治初期には寺子屋を開いていたと聞いています。太い大黒柱をはじめ、家自体の存在感、集落、ロケーションが気にいって移住し、以降、セルフリノベーションを積み重ねてきました。歴史的風合いをできるかぎり残すために古材を使って施工しています。 床板は畳の下に敷かれていた栗材や米棚の板の再利用です。庭から出てきた敷石は五右衛門風呂に、長屋門で使われていた蔵の戸は玄関に再利用しています。 夏は扇風機のみで過ごしています。反対に冬は隙間風が入ってとても寒く感じると思いますが、セルフビルドのオンドル（床暖房）や五右衛門風呂など少しでも暖かくすごすための暮らしの工夫もぜひ体感していただきたいことの1つです。 ホストと共に古民家暮らしを体験する宿、古民家あまね。 自然に身を委ね何もない日常を味わう連泊での滞在をおすすめします。 ここで過ごす時間が、あなたにとって静かな喜びとあたたかさにつながったら嬉しいです。

Wild birds visit the backyard bird bath daily, adding to the relaxing atmosphere on the deck. Located 4–10 minutes by car from five major ski resorts, and 1–8 minutes from convenience stores, restaurants, and supermarkets. Optional breakfast service is available for ¥2,600 per meal.
