Peaceful Hollow provides the perfect country solution to your de-stressing needs. Tastefully decorated and built with lots of natural elements such as wood and stone, it provides a charming stay. We have four bedrooms, three have queen beds and one has a bunk bed that is single over double. There are two full bath. The kitchen is well furnished and perfect for cooking those meals when you feel like staying in for the day. The porch offers a lovely view of the farmland that surrounds the house.

The Hen House Cottage is a tiny house located on an historic farm in central Maryland. It is surrounded by six acres of beautiful pasture and gardens. The Cottage has great light throughout the day, a well-equipped kitchen (microwave, oven, coffee grinder, coffee maker, large fridge, etc.), a full bathroom (with shower), a sleeping area with a comfortable queen-sized bed, dedicated (free) wi-fi, a smart TV, blue tooth sound system, and an eclectic library. Beautiful, quiet woodland setting with a creek running through it, just 5 miles from downtown Frederick. Tucked away into the woods our tiny A-Frame has a comfortable queen bed(not an air mattress) for a rest and retreat fully immersed in the poplar woods. This is a camping style set up- so if you enjoy camping then this place is for you. No running water- but plenty of good clean mountain water available , no electricity, compost toilet. We do not allow dogs.

The Hideaway: hot-tub+Fire-pit+E-Bikes+Secluded

Kick back, prop your feet up, pour some coffee, listen to the birds, go for a bike ride on the local country roads, or start a camp fire, or watch your favorite movie on the TV. Or soak in the large soaking tub inside, Or relax in the brand-new hot-tub and gaze up at the stars at night. All kitchen utensils, plates, and cooking pans are supplied. There is a breville coffee maker to make your favorite cup of coffee or latte,(bring your own dairy)

Rest and Recharge Retreat

We have a new larger tent for 2026! Queen size bed. We have also added a sauna to our retreat. Rest and recharge at this beautifully landscaped glamping retreat. Enjoy quiet moments of zen in the meditation garden, awake to the birds and butterflies, float the afternoon away in the pool or enjoy stargazing in the hot tub at night. We are set up for a quiet retreat for 2 people. Additional guests must be approved in advance. No parties!

The Miller's House is a quaint and beautiful, newly restored two-bedroom house that sits on a small river and is also a national historic landmark. The house has been painstakingly restored recently, with modern amenities you'd expect such as all-new appliances and high speed WiFi. Proximity to the Gunpowder Falls for fishing or tubing, the NCR trail (less than .2 mile away) and endless roads to bike on make it a great escape.
