The Porter House, built in 1830-1850, is located in the heart of Raymond, MS. The home has two bedrooms upstairs each with full bathrooms and separated by a well-stocked coffee bar. The Porter House has a beautiful garden with fire pit and chairs. The Porter House is 5 minutes off of the Natchez Trace, 15 minutes from Clinton, and 30 minutes from Ridgeland/Jackson. This beautifully decorated, one of a kind West Jackson cottage on a quiet street within the Cooperative Community of New West Jackson. The home is filled with natural light making for a cozy stay. Model residents of the Cooperative live in the neighboring houses while my family and I stay a block away. From the porch, you can see the Grenada Street Folk Garden: our community production farm filled with fresh vegetables, fruit trees and blooming flowers for our CSA.
