We are 12 min. from downtown Sumter and 20 min from Shaw AFB. Local points of interest are Swan Lake Iris Gardens and Poinsett State Park. It is only 2 hours to Myrtle Beach and Charleston, SC & 3 hrs to the mtns. While it is conveniently located, this cottage offers a quiet place to put your feet up and rest.

Come enjoy wide open quiet spaces on our almost 30-acre farm. If you need time and space to unwind, you will find that here. Our farm includes 2 farm cats, Marshmallow (the cream one) and Leo (the black one) , a rescue dog (Linguine) and a few horses. If you are NOT an animal lover, Firefly Farm might not be a good fit. Marshmallow will sometimes make the top of your vehicle his little resting place. And if you leave your door open, he might just sneak right in. Just shoo him & he’ll listen.

It is nestled on 6 serene acres, among massive windswept Live Oaks dripping with Spanish moss, Palmettos, azaleas, camellia, magnolias and creape myrtle, yet so conveniently close to Shaw Air Force base, 30 mins to Columbia and Camden, close to all Sumter's attractions.

It is a convenient stop between I-77 and I-95 and has close proximity to Poinsett and Congaree Parks and The Palmetto Trail. It sits on top of a hill offering panoramic views, quiet, and privacy. Mine Hill sunrises and sunsets are stunning. Reserve as a stopover, a retreat from the workday, or a romantic getaway and enjoy our cabin as a home away from home.
