Comenzando en la emblemática y céntrica Puerta del Sol, comenzaremos a explorar el Barrio de las Letras, un importante barrio local de Madrid, hoy en día, una elegante zona bohemia. Descubrirá los lugares históricos de este encantador vecindario en su camino hacia el Museo del Prado. Una vez que lleguemos al Museo, no tendremos que hacer la cola, ingresando directamente. Antes de comenzar el recorrido dentro del Museo, le daré una breve sesión informativa de lo que vamos a descubrir juntos. Te mostraré las obras maestras que todos deberían ver al visitar el Museo del Prado, pero mi objetivo principal es conectar la historia y el desarrollo de España con la colección de arte. Descubriendo los períodos históricos de mi país dentro de cada pintura, entendiendo el significado y la importancia del tema en ese momento de la historia: de los pintores flamencos que inspiraron a la familia de Hamburgo a difundir su imperio a la vida en Madrid durante el siglo XVIII admirando las pinturas de Goya . La colección del museo incluye: amor, mitología y leyendas misteriosas que sé que será divertido compartir contigo. Después de la visita, ¡puedes quedarte en el museo todo el tiempo que desees! Come with me on a intimate tour with a nice mix of history, architecture, fun anecdotes, a few jokes and really, really, tasty food (Not the mainstream, cliché, touristy food!). We'll start at the Plaza Mayor and then make our way through the old village, stopping at a local market to enjoy some entrees and drinks. Then continue our historical journey through the most ancient and interesting parts of the old town, to finally end before the majestic Royal Palace. After putting aside the history we’ll finish the tour at a really cosy, gourmet restaurant where you'll get to taste different, mouth-watering, chef made tapas, local drinks and a really special and traditional liquor quite involved with the history of the city. Of course, aside from the food goodies, we will get an opportunity to chill, know each other better and share some laughs. Esta experiencia esta pensada para aquellos que quieran pasar un rato agradable en un autentico taller de Cuero Artesano Español. A los asistentes les enseñare algunas de las herramientas que se usan para trabajar el cuero, muchas de las cuales son las mismas que se usaban en épocas medievales, y también la variedad de pieles que existen. Cada participante tendrá la oportunidad de realizar con sus propias manos una pieza artesanal usando cuero Español de primera calidad. Se podrá elegir entre varias piezas, todas ellas sencillas de realizar, pero con un diseño bonito y original; Un lindo bolso de mano, un cinturón a medida, una cartera, dos diferentes monederos o pulseras trenzadas. Comunicándolo previamente al profesor esta la opción de realizar una pieza distintas a estas, que diseñaremos en el acto.... quizás algo que siempre se quiso hacer, un bolso, una riñonera, una funda de móvil.... Cada pieza sera única ya que cada participante podrá decorar su trabajo a su gusto, usando una técnica llamada Repujado, de amplia tradición en España, que introdujeron los Árabes hace cientos de años. Cada uno podrá hasta plasmar sus iniciales sobre su obra!! No seremos muchos en el taller para que tengamos la oportunidad de conocernos y no andar con prisas. Hablo Ingles perfectamente así que daré las explicaciones tanto en Español como en Ingles. Otros aspectos destacables Al principio de la experiencia habrá que cortar las piezas de cuero con una herramienta cortante afilada. Se les dará la opción a los participantes de cortarlo ellos mismos o que lo corte el profesor.

We'll head to where the city ends, nature begins, and tourists rarely venture. I'll take you to a local ranch, where you will be able to pet horses, dogs, sometimes there are even young horses that you can meet. I'll teach you the basics of riding. Then we'll set out across a dramatic landscape of forest and mountains for 1 hour approximately and when the ride finishes you will be able to pet and take pictures with friendly horses inside our barn. I will bring you from the meeting point to the ranch and back to the meeting point for free. To get to the meeting point you can use different types of transport, don't hesitate on asking. The ride will be around 1 hour but from when we meet to when we say bye-bye it will be around 2 hours. We will meet at the train station and I will take you to explore some of the most beautiful Spanish landscapes that Madrid National Park Mountains can offer for 2-3 hours approx. The hike is easy and relaxing, perfect for a rest from the city hustle and bustle and connect with nature (it is only known by locals so it won't be crowded). We'll hike along mountains, little streams, oaks, holm oaks, pines, blackberries, wild roses, sometimes cows and horses will be free roaming among us... We will see some of the most amazing natural treasures that "la Sierra de Madrid" hides (including local ranches), we will also see some historical remains and will stop at a lookout to contemplate the chain of Mountains and the nearest towns. During winter time, we will be able to enjoy the snow if the forecast is with us, and during summer, we will enjoy the fresher temperatures from the city center. Nos encontraremos en Boqueria, el mercado más antiguo y conocido de Barcelona, donde recogeremos los mariscos más frescos para nuestra paella. Aquí te mostraré los puestos de mariscos de mejor calidad, el azafrán de la más alta calidad, el pimentón español, el aceite de oliva y trufa español, la reconocida sal catalana con diferentes sabores, un jamón ibérico de primera calidad. Te sentirás como un español: oliendo, probando, tocando y probando productos locales y charlando con mis amigos vendedores. Después de las compras llega el momento de cocinar y nos dirigimos a mi cocina-estudio, un lugar único y hermoso en un antiguo edificio catalán recientemente restaurado (más de 150 años) (7 minutos a pie). Ahora es el momento de ser creativos con nuestra sesión práctica de cocina. Mientras disfrutamos de nuestro aperitivo, comenzaremos con la preparación de Pan con Tomate y Sangría. Durante nuestro taller los invitados van a encintar sus propias alpargatas catalanas, una actividad típica de la zona, con mucha tradición. Al finalizar se las llevan como el mejor souvenir de su visita a la ciudad condal. El punto de encuentro será en el taller directamente, donde los invitados estarán rodeados de productos terminados y materiales, todo un mundo de tradición. Nuestros artesanos estarán con los invitados durante todo el taller, liderando y suministrando todos los materiales y herramientas. Primero les vamos a dar una introducción al mundo de las espardeñas, su origen y su magnifica historia durante los últimos 900 años. Aprenderán esta bella tradición de Cataluña, y de cómo pasaron de ser el zapato de trabajo de la gente pobre de la zona, a ser una moda internacional de lujo. A continuación cada uno de los invitados elegirá el color y la talla de la base sobre la que trabajará, los lazos y los hilos, y procederemos a encintar las espardeñas bajo las instrucciones del artesano. Una vez terminadas, aprenderemos las 6 maneras de atarlas al tobillo y la historia de cada una. Es divertido, no muy complicado y cada visitante sale con su par de espardeñas puestas. Es muy divertido para niños y familias, ya que es una experiencia preciosa para compartir. En resumen, cada uno de nuestros participantes adquiere no solo la técnica para encintar espardeñas, si no también una historia increíble que contar, una experiencia única en grupo y un souvenir difícil de encontrar hoy en día. Y por supuesto sereis la envidia en Instagram con vuestras historias... We’re having a special feature, today, Monday the 15th, from 17h00 to 19h00. LisboaLove Fado is the ultimate event to live and feel Portuguese Lisboa's traditional genre. Starting at 5PM on Friday’s and Tuesday's. I'll share some of our traditions and culture and a brief introduction to the history of Fado, to set the mood for our evening. The LisboaLove Fado takes place on an exclusive venue: my apartment! Please notice that pictures include also previous venues. It's a personal full experience only for the guests who book it, not joining a Fado Restaurant with others. For context I'll summarize the history of Fado. This will be followed by a 40-minute tribute performance to Amalia Rodrigues, Portugal’s most famous and well-loved Fado singer. I will add some commentary during the concert to resume the lyrics being performed. Since it is afternoon you may have walked a lot in our hilly city already, so we'll serve a snack of traditional petiscos. There's no Fado without some wine and olives too. But don't worry - I'm not singing :) A highly talented and recording Fado singer and musicians are performing for you!

Our tour is ideal for everyone who wants to get to know Madrid in a short time but in a relaxed way. Conducted in English. Welcome to Madrid! One of Europe's most exciting yet misunderstood cities. What it perhaps lacks in famous tourist attractions, it more than makes up for in wild history, beautiful views and exciting local stories. If you take a couple of hours to get to know Madrid, it can easily become one of your favourite cities. This English language tour starts close to the Plaza Mayor and ends at the glorious Royal Palace. We're always a small, friendly group of travellers led by a historian. No microphones, crowds or wikipedia style facts but a fun, personalised adventure. We'll stroll down charming streets to see the sights of the oldest part of town to uncover the stories of Madrid and discover the soul of a city that stands in the middle of nowhere, miles from its neighbours. We'll explore the history that shaped the city, find out some local food and drink traditions, and even solve a couple of mysteries. I'll give you heaps of recommendations to ensure you can confidently eat, drink and live the city like a local whilst supporting the small businesses that keep Madrid such a vibrant, homely city. Come with me on a intimate tour with a nice mix of history, architecture, fun anecdotes, a few jokes and really, really, tasty food (Not the mainstream, cliché, touristy food!). We'll start at the Plaza Mayor and then make our way through the old village, stopping at a local market to enjoy some entrees and drinks. Then continue our historical journey through the most ancient and interesting parts of the old town, to finally end before the majestic Royal Palace. After putting aside the history we’ll finish the tour at a really cosy, gourmet restaurant where you'll get to taste different, mouth-watering, chef made tapas, local drinks and a really special and traditional liquor quite involved with the history of the city. Of course, aside from the food goodies, we will get an opportunity to chill, know each other better and share some laughs. Come and see Madrid through my eyes, I want to make you feel as if you're walking through the city with a bunch of friends but one of them happens to know a lot about it and is more than willing to share the knowledge with you! Hi everyone!! The idea of this experience is to provide the best possible full day in our hometown. Knowing Sintra like the back of our hands and all the magic it has to offer, we came up with what we believe to be the most amazing and complete way of experiencing its wonders in one full day! - Start the day in Lisbon in front of Dona Maria II Theater - Our first stop will be at the historic center of Sintra to discover its beautiful labyrinth like streets. We will talk about what makes Sintra so special while discovering its secrets and taste its unique pastry. - We will then discover the Palace of Quinta da Regaleira and get lost in its 4 hectares of mysticism and romantic arquitecture and gardens. - From here we will leave the tourists behind and go through the very picturesque and hidden towns of Colares, Penedo, Almoçageme etc. to reach the open atlantic coastline. - On the coastline we will go for a waterfront lunch before exploring its brethtaking cliff views and Cabo da Roca - The end of the World! -We will then have the best postcard like views of the Pena Palace and finish the tour with a visit to this unique romantic Palace. :) Other things to note Pick up and drop off in front of Dona Maria II Theater (15 walk from most areas on the city) Meals and Monuments fees are not included.

Esta experiencia esta pensada para aquellos que quieran pasar un rato agradable en un autentico taller de Cuero Artesano Español. A los asistentes les enseñare algunas de las herramientas que se usan para trabajar el cuero, muchas de las cuales son las mismas que se usaban en épocas medievales, y también la variedad de pieles que existen. Cada participante tendrá la oportunidad de realizar con sus propias manos una pieza artesanal usando cuero Español de primera calidad. Se podrá elegir entre varias piezas, todas ellas sencillas de realizar, pero con un diseño bonito y original; Un lindo bolso de mano, un cinturón a medida, una cartera, dos diferentes monederos o pulseras trenzadas. Comunicándolo previamente al profesor esta la opción de realizar una pieza distintas a estas, que diseñaremos en el acto.... quizás algo que siempre se quiso hacer, un bolso, una riñonera, una funda de móvil.... Cada pieza sera única ya que cada participante podrá decorar su trabajo a su gusto, usando una técnica llamada Repujado, de amplia tradición en España, que introdujeron los Árabes hace cientos de años. Cada uno podrá hasta plasmar sus iniciales sobre su obra!! No seremos muchos en el taller para que tengamos la oportunidad de conocernos y no andar con prisas. Hablo Ingles perfectamente así que daré las explicaciones tanto en Español como en Ingles. Otros aspectos destacables Al principio de la experiencia habrá que cortar las piezas de cuero con una herramienta cortante afilada. Se les dará la opción a los participantes de cortarlo ellos mismos o que lo corte el profesor.

Open for all levels, thanks to our responsive and easy to ride horses, you will be able to ride even if you never saw a horse before :) Enjoy an intimate and fun experience in a scenic route, tall and beautiful trees will give you a fresh feeling, streams and brooks, wildflowers of various colours, cows and bulls, and much other flora & fauna. We'll head to where the city ends, nature begins, and tourists rarely venture. I'll take you to a local ranch, where you will be able to pet horses, dogs, sometimes there are even young horses that you can meet. I'll teach you the basics of riding. Then we'll set out across a dramatic landscape of forest and mountains for 1 hour approximately and when the ride finishes you will be able to pet and take pictures with friendly horses inside our barn. I will bring you from the meeting point to the ranch and back to the meeting point for free. To get to the meeting point you can use different types of transport, don't hesitate on asking. The ride will be around 1 hour but from when we meet to when we say bye-bye it will be around 2 hours. Bring adequate clothing for the day's climate & wear comfortable clothing including long pants and closed-toed shoes, without heels. Tips are greatly appreciated :)
