The south coast of Barbados is the place to be for all kind of surf activities or just to relax. You will find surfers on the water when the waves are right and kite/wing- and windsurfers as soon as the wind is blowing.

Charming Bajan Chattel house, a short distance to wind & kite surfing spots of Silversands Beach, Long Beach & Surfers Point. Situated close by is a local rum shop, minimart and church. Karaoke is on Thursday nights and church service is on Sunday. It is a short drive to Miami Beach, Freights Bay, Oistins, St Lawrence Gap, Bridgetown and the Airport. Little Chancery occupies a quiet spot at a breezy location near the ocean. You'll escape the tourist crowd here, although it's just a short trip by car or bus to shops, restaurants and nightlife. There's also a small local supermarket, just 10 minutes walk away. It's only six minutes from the house to Long Beach. It really is long (one mile) and great for walks. The water’s warm, the surf impressive and the trade wind here will keep you cool. Swim only if you are confident in the surf.

Dies "tiny house for 2" ist das perfekte hideaway auf unserer Lieblingsinsel: Baden bei Sonnenaufgang am kleinen Strand nur ein paar Schritte entfernt, zum Frühstück auf der kleinen Terrasse sitzen, während der Wind durch die Palmen raschelt. Dann flugs Surfbrett, Badetuch oder Kiteboard gegriffen und ab ins Wasser. Nach einem herrlichen Tag dann einen Rumpunch als Aperitif und den Catch of the day im Surfers Bay Restaurant in der Nachbarschaft. We love it. Und Ihr sicher auch!

Silver Sands Is not a central area, renting a car would be a good idea.
