Craigiehall Temple (historic property built 1759)

Make you trip to Edinburgh truly memorable with a stay at Craigiehall Temple. Built in 1759 and situated in its own grounds on a former part of the Craigiehall Estate, it's Grade A listed for its stunning portico displaying the arms of the 1st Marquess of Annandale. A plaque on the wall carries a quote from Horace: "Dum Iicet in rebus jucundis vive beatus", "Live happy while you can among joyful things". We hope that a stay at the Temple will deliver this experience and stay true to this vision.

Achray Farm is a working smallholding / goat farm and ice-cream maker in the Trossachs. We offer holiday let stays in The Old Farmhouse & The Cake House (sleeps 4). Old Farmhouse was renovated in 2019 to create bright, spacious accommodation whist retaining original features, along with a wood burning stove and complimented by 300Mbs fibre WiFi & biomass heating. Our location is the perfect start for walking, cycling & touring the area right from the door and walking distance from the tearoom.

Upstairs are 2 bright, ensuite bedrooms (one standard UK double, one king or twin). Downstairs is an open-plan living space, well-equipped kitchen and wet room.

A luxury 3 bedroom apartment over 2 floors boasting magnificent views of Loch Awe with a separate, private entrance. The Tower of Glenstrae was built in 1896 and is split in two. We live on site in the section with the tower itself. Located for easy access to Ben Cruachan and many Munros, the Tower of Glenstrae is an ideal base for walkers, cyclists and those exploring the historic, visually stunning West coast of Scotland. Now with fast broadband and a great local pub is 5mins walk away!

The Stable - cottage with a spectacular lake view

The Stable is a ground floor semi detached studio cottage situated in a private 40 acre estate with panoramic views of the Lake of Menteith, private covered porch, gas barbecue, freesat TV, DVD player, docking station and White Company linen. We have a corporate membership of Forrest Hills Hotel and Spa (c12 minutes drive from the cottage) which allows our guests access to their swimming pool, steam room, sauna and Spa and billiards room at no cost apart from individual spa treatments).

We are lucky enough to have ancient woodlands for you to explore, full of incredible wildlife, we also have a wild swimming pond for those looking for a cold water fix - look us up under cotwild The Shepards hut sleeps 2 adults & 2 children under 12yrs on a sofa bed sleeping bag. 2 well behaved dogs welcome.

Merlin is a perfect space for 2 on an 84 acre hillside farm. The farm offers stunning views of the Lake of Menteith and surrounding hills. Merlin is a cute space with all comforts considered: a king size bed, small sofa, kitchenette, lush decor and a walk in shower. Bathrobes, fluffy towels, tea and coffee are included. This delightful one bedroom holiday cottage in the Trossachs National Park is an ideal cosy and comfortable base from which to explore the area. Located in the peaceful hamlet of Brig O'Turk, it is nestled between two lochs. It has a well equipped kitchen, a lounge/dining area and a separate bathroom. The cottage has good Wifi. Dogs are very welcome. The area is especially wonderful for walkers, wild swimmers and cyclists. Next to the cottage is a small garden with views of Ben Venue.

It is a totally private secret escape. This is truly a place to relax and to get away from it all. Just sit on the deck, or take a stroll along the banks of the Loch. The cabin sleeps 2 people and is totally private. A wonderful location for fishing, walking and cycling, (or just chilling).
