Convenient location to tour the scenic area, attend festivals, and other attractions in South Louisiana. Please email with any questions! *This is my home and primary residence when it is not rented to guests, so you will see my personal affects around the house (clothes in the closet, family photos, antiques & collectibles etc.).

Beautiful house located on the Mermentau River

Enjoy a relaxing stay at our beautiful home on the Mermentau River. This house sleeps 9 easily with 6 beds, a queen sleeper sofa, a futon and two full bathrooms to accommodate a large family. This home offers an outside screened in sitting area, and private wharf to enjoy fishing. Dock your boat at the public boat launch located about 5 minutes from the house and enjoy a nice cruise on the river. We also offer a camper spot located on the property for an additional fee, 50 amp full hook up.

La Solange Honeymoon Cottage, romantic, business

La Solange cottage is on its own private lot. We are close to the airport, churches, shopping, and right off of I-10 and I-49, making it easy to get to wherever you want to be within minutes. Traveling without a vehicle is no issue, Uber is available. The front of our cottage faces Gloria Switch Road, while our back semi- secluded porch faces a wooded area. WiFi is available. We have a Jacuzzi, no shower, king-size bed, 55" Smart TV, kitchenette, sitting area, and a semi-secluded balcony.

This one-room rustic cabin sits on 27 acres, perfect for a gadget-free weekend of star gazing and bird watching. You’ll love sipping your coffee (or wine) on the large porches, complete with swing, rockers, and ceiling fans. Bring your furry friend and take long walks around the tree-lined property, or cozy up with your loved one and bask in the privacy of the cabin.

Close to Historic Downtown and all the most sought after attractions while being located in a quiet neighborhood. Our cozy cabin sits in the heart of Cajun country, about 30 minutes outside of Lafayette. It's a great place to spend time relaxing in the quiet serenity of South Louisiana, or enjoy spending a night or more traveling through, it is located just 8 miles north of Interstate 10. We do not allow pets. The Cabin is all wood inside and has the great cabin smell the minute you open the door. It was built in 2014 by Amish builders in Pennsylvania and transported down by a truck.
