Stay in a historic home in Old Town Steamboat Springs built 1907. We have added an entry, dining room, master bedroom and bath and powder bath. However, we have kept the original two-story home in tact, similar to the early 1900's. We even used original wood from the walls to accent the exterior. Adjacent to Routt National Forest and the Zirkel Wilderness. Nestled in the aspen and pines with private trails for hiking, biking, xc ski and snowshoe. 4wd or AWD preferred travel in winter. The Marmots, will often make an appearance. Wildlife abounds, moose, deer, elk pronghorn, bear, wolf and fox as well as many species of bird call this special place home. The spacious deck overlooks the forest and the mountains as well as the warm water ponds.

Our spacious caretaker space offers a clean, cozy place to stay, close to the slopes. It is a basement or garden level space with two egress windows and it's own entrance. Our location is exceptional, half-way between the gondola and City Market grocery. In winter, the free Purple bus line to the gondola stops at the end of our driveway. In summer, relax on your private patio, or explore our one acre property. We live above the space.
