To ensure you enjoy the stay to the fullest, I set check-in and check-out time to both 12:00 Noon. So you can stay up for 24 hours with one night booking. YAMANOTE HOUSE is accessible from major Kansai stations with 37min from Kyoto Sta. or 65min from Osaka Sta. If you come by car from Kyoto it takes less than 1 hour. The area aournd the house is once small castle town. The house is located next to the Shrine, Hiyoshi-Jinja, where the Omizo Festival is held on May 3 and 4 every year.

We collaborated with award winning architects at Ikken to renovate this space, which now accommodates the comforts of modern life, while retaining many of the original structure and elements from its past.

Also, it is a space for those who appreciates art, interior design and architectures. The price is for up to 2 people. An additional 7000 yen/night will be charged for the third person. This is a compact old Japanese house. The stairs are steep, unsuitable for the elderly or small children. 10 minutes walk Nijo Castle, a registered World Heritage Site. Quiet hour 8am to 8pm.
