The Old Brewery

The sheltered valley is nestled in the foothills of the Slieve Bernagh Mountains with Clare's highest peak; Moylussa (532m) standing behind. The apartment is a converted brewery with views towards the Ardclooney River and the hills above. 4 miles from the picturesque riverside town of Killaloe/Ballina and pubs, cafes, restaurants, boutiques, markets, fishing and watersports/beaches of Lough Derg.

Detached, modern studio outhouse

This little wooden house in the middle of the Clare Mountains is the perfect getaway for one or two nature loving people. You are surrounded by peace and tranquillity, beautiful hiking routes and the medieval town of Killaloe on the shores of the Shannon and Lough Derg is nearby. Inside this private hideout there is one bedroom and a small bathroom with shower and toilet. There is also a mini kitchen with a fridge, an induction hob and a microwave for preparing easy and basic meals.

We are located in a peaceful rural countryside setting 3 mins (by car) from Newport town, 12 mins from University of Limerick/Castletroy, 15 mins from Limerick City centre and 40 mins from Shannon Airport. Located in Tuamgraney in East Clare this house is the ideal spot to relax with the whole family. Tuamgraney boasts beautiful scenery and there is plenty to see and do - including a chocolate factory! Other local attractions such as Lough Derg and Killaloe are only a short 10 min drive drive away. You may also choose to take a day trip to the beautiful sights of West Clare - with Lahinch and Doolin just over an hour away. Limerick city is only a 40 minute drive.

Charming 15th Century Castle

Built in the late 1400s, Grantstown Castle has been lovingly restored and mixes medieval architecture with modern comforts. The Castle Is Rented In Its Entirety and caters for up to Six Guests. The castle is comprised of six floors, connected via a stone and oak spiral staircase. There are three double bedrooms and one single. The castle has great battlements which are accessible at the top of the staircase and host amazing views of the surrounding countryside.

You are very welcome in “The Mews”, a charming converted barn located on the grounds of the 18th Century restored Fomerla House, also called Castleview Cottage. The Mews, a traditional barn with the convenience of modern life, is ideally located in a tranquil setting, convenient for exploring the sights of County Clare. It is 25 minutes from Shannon Airport, 15 minutes from Ennis, the medieval capital town of Clare and 10 minutes from Tulla, the local town.

Marina View is a beautiful oasis located on the Shannon in the vibrant village of Killaloe/Ballina. You can relax and read, watch a film, prepare meals, or just enjoy a glass of wine on the balcony. The village is a leisurely ten-minute walk away. There are many cafes, a French patisserie, numerous pubs with trad music and several restaurants along with two hotels. Killaloe also serves as a base for exploring Nenagh, Limerick and Galway.
