The Old Schoolhouse is a beautifully renovated house which was originally the local national school built in 1887. All rooms in the house have breath taking views of the Shannon estuary. The house has wooden floors and ceilings throughout and a balcony where guests can sit and have breakfast overlooking the river. Upstairs bathroom, en-suite double bedroom, 2nd double bedroom and a single bedroom .t’s a very welcoming village on the Shannon estuary with some great pubs, an award winning restaurant, & wonderful scenic walks. It’s very well situated as a base from which to tour, 20 mins to loop head, 40 mins to Tarbert Ferry to Kerry, approx 60 mins to The Cliffs of Moher.
