We’ve recently (2021) renovated an apple store and stable in our garden into a beautiful space. You can spot the restored apple picking ladders and exposed bricks from the original building. Located in the heart of Dishforth Village it’s walking distance a village drinking pub and a five minute drive to the award winning Crab & Lobster restaurant and The Angel at Topcliffe.

Set in 4 acres of gardens and woodland, guests can make the most of our peaceful location. Ideal for walkers, cyclists and those looking for a calming retreat.

Boroughbridge has a fine selection of shops & pubs and is only a couple of minutes drive from the A1. Milby is a quiet hamlet about half a mile from Boroughbridge. The cottage adjoins the main house but is completely self-contained. There is a private yard and parking area. The cottage is close to Boroughbridge which has pubs, cafes, restaurants and shops. Ripon, Knaresborough, Harrogate, York, The Yorkshire Dales and the North Yorkshire Moors are all within easy reach. Sorry no pets.

What once was a Wesleyan Chapel attached to a Church and The Old Manse, this unique place has been lovingly restored and renovated recently by ourselves. We have carefully maintained some original features whilst introducing some modern creature comforts including free guest WiFi.
