The house was built in the early 1920’s by a woman who did missionary work in Asia and was fascinated by the architecture. It is nestled at the foot of Country Club Drive in a quiet residential neighborhood and is very close to an excellent selection of bars and restaurants that are about a 10-20 minute walk away. La Jolla Oceanfront Serenity Suite

Beside a pocket park on the edge of the Pacific ocean, this La Jolla Airbnb with 595 sq. ft patio offers salty air from the ocean about 100' away with fascinating tide pools. Too dangerous for kids here, sorry, but room for surfboards and bicycles, and your spa awaits. No beach access. Must scramble down park path to the stony shore, but a sandy beach one quarter mile away. En suite/king bed, dog fee $55 per night; if you hear potential construction noise, we will discuss the partial refund.

The cottage features full amenities that include: Tempurpedic™ queen-size bed. Wi-Fi, Smart TV, air conditioning, refrigerator, microwave, wet bar, coffee maker, toaster, and iron. Window seat for sitting, reading or lounging. Private entrance and patio connecting to a courtyard and Japanese garden. Spacious bathroom with 12 foot high tiled shower. French doors open to a private sitting area. If the days are booked in the cottage we might have an opening at, Mikes House and Garden.

A short drive will take you to Pacific Beach, Mission Bay, Mission Beach, Ocean Beach, the famous San Diego Zoo, Old Town, SeaWorld, and Lego Land.

This studio rental is a mile uphill from the beach. The unit has three rooms — the main section with queen size bed, dining table and seating; the bathroom (shower); and kitchenette (refrigerator, two burner electric stove, coffee maker, toaster oven, air fryer, microwave, and electric juicer). Enjoy a glass of wine or fresh orange juice in the garden. Large yard and several patios (shared space).
