"THE HEATED FULL BATHROOM & HALF BATH IS NOT IN THE CABIN" but is located just steps away from the cabin in the large pole barn, and is stocked with hand towels and toiletries to make your "GLAMPING" experience one to remember. The famous Bois Brule River is a short walk down the hill. We are just an hour from the Apostle Islands, Bayfield, Hayward, Ashland, Wi or Duluth, Mn. Our cabin is very quiet. We are on 3 wooded acres. Our place is a cabin. Not a house. We aren't fancy but comfortable. Get set for a beautiful peaceful time in the pines.

You will enjoy sun and moon rises from your living room, watch the birds, the freighters and the ever-changing moods on the bay. If you love hiking or snow shoeing, bird watching, cross country skiing or photography – this is the place for you. When winter arrives, we get lots of snow! Located just 14 miles from Tahquamenon State Park & 1-1/2 miles from Paradise.

Chocolay River Cabin

Small hand hewn log cabin on Chocolay River. Good fishing, approximately 5 miles from snowmobile and ORV trails. Full kitchen. 1 BR (Q), Full sofa sleeper and 1 bath. Outdoor electric sauna. A fire pit. Washer/dryer. Basic amenities. Full kitchen. There is WiFi but cell service can be very sketchy. Texting does seem to work ok. We do have a cell phone booster there but it still isn’t great. If you need to make a call you can drive about 1 mile out to US 41 and service is good.
